Dougie's Donuts Marsden — Restaurant in Logan City

Now I’m not normally one to complain, but. Today I went in to Dougies on chambers flat road at about 9am with my 3 babies and bought a 6 pack. This one particular custard donut tasted funny to me I took a 2nd bite to make sure I’m not being fussy about it but still it didn’t taste like the custard donut I was used to for whatever reason. I decided to go in and kindly asked to swap for another- the lady at the counter said I can swap for the same one?? I said uhh okay never mind. I ended up building enough courage to come back in after a minute to plead my case explaining I just asked to switch one. I’m 1 customer and you have soo many donuts am I not valued enough to just make one switch? She ended up yelling at me to pick a donut!! I kept explaining I’m not trying to argue as I was hesitant to come in in the first place but she would not hear me out. Poor customer service for a mama of 3 under 3 who just wanted to enjoy a morning with her babies...

Popped in tonight to get some amazing donuts.. looking for a box of 6, two fairy floss and four pink.. I asked the young guy do you have any pink ones he replies with ohhh yeah looked down and then nothing, so we left the store, this not the first interaction with this fellow as he has previously given us the wrong orders before, you would think he would try sell us so other wonderful donuts as the shelves were still full and it was 6:45 pm this guy needs some real training on customer service or a change of job .. really disappointing. To the owner, the store needs to be mystery shopped as this is not good for business or...

I'm not a fan of donuts. At some point, as a child, I must've eaten the donut and all donuts since have failed by that comparison. The donuts I got from Dougie's, last night, were bought on whim alone and with absolutely no expectation. I ate one, and then I ate another. And then - I couldn't eat any more.
