Little Red Dumpling Springwood — Restaurant in Logan City

Dined here as a group of 4 adults plus one hungry toddler. This is now my favourite restaurant out of the Little Red Dumpling locations. The staff were super friendly and attentive, despite being almost full on a Friday night. I liked the thoughtfulness of being provided a little plastic bowl, spoon and cup for the toddler. Being a newly built restaurant it was clean and had a great fresh look. Now, these things are all great but the food has to be good to make me want to come back. The food did not disappoint. We had the rainbow, pan fried pork, lamb & coriander and chicken & prawn dumplings. All the dumplings were full of flavour and had a decent amount of filling. I really hate when dumplings are all dumpling case and hollow with little filling but these were good, not great, but a reasonable amount of filling to make one content. Very happy to return. We ordered the wonton soup and the lamb soup which we ordered as non spicy. When I came out it was spicy could feel the heat on my lips, we then asked if we could get it looked at cause we asked for non spicy. The young girl was very polite and took it back to the kitchen we then had a guy come back and said there is no spice in it so don't know why your saying it's hot. I then got the wonton soup which should not have any spice at all, it was so spicy the heat made my sinus go and mouth burn. I don’t like dumplings. Mainly, because: vegetarian options are very limited dumplings are doughy However! Found a winner here at LRDSpringwood when the kitchen pan fried both sides and the vege dumpling was delicious! The only down side is that their vegetarian pancake is fried in the same oil as their chicken. Had I not asked, it would have ended up badly for me. All in all, great place and would visit again.
