Roundabout Espresso — Restaurant in Logan City

I don't usually have anything bad to say about this place but lately, and particularly today the service is extremely below par. I decided to order something a little different to the eggs benny I usually get. I mean it's great they have a multitude of substitutes with this option without any price change (mushrooms, smoked salmon, avocado etc).... but the option below the Benny...the hash brown stack... appealed to me today. It was basically the same but with a hash brown and cheese instead of spinach and hollandaise.... I enquired if i could substitute the bacon for smoked salmon. I had thought this would be as simple as the eggs Benny options, but apparently not, this time I was charged for BOTH the bacon and salmon. When I noticed that price seemed to be exorbitant the staff said its because I ordered salmon and I still had to pay for the bacon even if it was omitted. The manager came over and said they can change the bacon over for salmon and take the price off, but they will still charge a $2 fee because of the swap. I queried how the eggs Benny offered substitutes without any additional swap fee? They refused to negotiate so I just went with my eggs Benny. It ended up a disappointing experience when usually bacon substitutes in the past haven't been an issue. I really empathise for the vegetarians and others who don't eat bacon as they will be slammed with this extra fee... be...

Eaten here multiple times. Food and coffee is excellent, some of the best around but the girl at the counter is always unhappy and gives a very negative and unpleasant vibe like she wants to be anywhere but there. The tables are always dirty and I mean dirty. I wipe them myself every time and my wipes are always black with dirt not just food so they never get wiped down or cleaned. It’s not air conditioned and in summer it’s stifling. The flys are a big issue while your eating making the dine in experience uncomfortable. You wanna eat and get out of there as quick as possible which is disappointing when you want to sit, take your time and enjoy your eat out experience The food is really good and always seems busy but needs to sort out cleaning, clearing and a better customer experience. Can’t rely on Food alone if they wish to survive long term. Hopefully they will read their reviews and actually take notice and make changes as I would not want to see them disappear due to these simple but...

Had breakfast here Sunday the 26th of November with my partner. The cafe was not busy but we waited for our steak toastie and breakfast burger for one hour. We didn’t want to make a big deal out of it but after seeing the server give our food to a different table who started touching the food, we went up and asked when our food was coming. We knew it was our food because it was exactly what we ordered, we ordered before they arrived and they were looking at it as if it wasn’t their order, a few moments later they received two more meals. We didn’t receive anything in compensation and was told that the docket got lost, which obviously wasn’t our fault. We could’ve at least got a complimentary drink for the wait. After receiving our meal, I realised we should have asked for a refund instead because it was not...
