This little cafe sits on the corner of the roundabout at the Hyperdome bus station. The staff are wonderful: Jenny (owner) happily chats with anyone and everyone. Faith glows with warmth and friendliness. Tegan (barista) seems to know everyone by name. You feel welcome immediately. The coffee is consistently excellent. It's not bougie but is very charming and homely in ways that edge it above other cafes in the area: unique and encouraging messages on takeaway cups; little biscuits included with coffee; the weekly puzzles on the backboard that generate old-timey conversation amongst customers (and more than a little head-scratching). They are very kid-friendly (colouring in available) and even host community events such as painting tutorials with a local artist and car meets....
