Darcy's Diner — Restaurant in Longreach

My sister and I grabbed some takeaway pizza for dinner from here on a Monday night, going to be fully honest it’s a cute set up they have in the restaurant and the staff are kind but we waited over 30 minutes for our food and I understand that when some places are busy it takes longer but there was maybe 3 people including us in the restaurant at the time it didn’t start getting busy until we asked after 30 minutes and we still had to wait while other people that order well after us were getting there food, we would have been waiting god knows how long if we didn’t ask for an update, they seemed very stressed and annoyed when we asked and there was over 5 people working that night so I don’t understand why it took so long, my sister and I ordered and sat down to wait at about 5:30pm and didn’t leave until just after 6:30pm, the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best and I definitely...

Leanne at Darcy's Diner was amazing. We recently held a veterinary conference at the Longreach Civic & Cultural centre where we self catered. Leanne was able to provide COVID safe individually packaged delicious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea over the two days of our event. We had a little COVID scare in the lead up to the event. Leanne was on the phone to me the morning of the event assuring me that the catering was all good to go and happy to adjust the numbers to suit if we had any changes. Did I mention the food was OUTSTANDING, our guests were so impressed with the variety and all of our dietary requirements were met. Pretty good Place in Longreach to grab a bite to eat. Darcy's offers a big variety of food all at reasonable prices. The offer Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I bought a Breakfast there, portion sizes were large and the Quality was Generally Good. Some parts of my meal were better than others, but for the $12.50 I paid, It was more than worth it.

I really like the theming of the 'Diner', it makes it unique, however it's not over the top which is great. Good things aside, The staff seemed unhappy for some reason - or at least Unenthusiastic. But it wasn't much of an issue, they still took my order and were able to deliver my meal within 15minutes.

Next time I visit Longreach, I would happily eat...
