Barney's — Restaurant in Maclean

The service in this place is appalling. Deserves to be closed down by the Health Inspector. A worker sitting on the floor and also playing on the phone between customers is not an uncommon occurrence. A flat white consisted of a small amount of warm coffee flavoured milk and more than half the cup filled with fluff! My granddaughter ordered a ham and cheese toastie and was given one made with tomato,which she is allergic to. She was told the toasties are pre made and she was belittled to the point whereby she was shaking so much that she was unable to eat at all! This was from the owner!! Barney's is a weekly event for us. The sourdough donuts are always the highlight for me but my wife prefers the open sourdough english muffins with bacon, egg, cheese and relish. To be honest , doesn't deserve even a star being the most unfriendly towards tourists or a different face other than them. This town seems like its stuck in the 80's.
