We dined in at this Indian restaurant for the first time on 16th May around 8:30 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by poor customer service from the lady working that night. When I tried to ask which curries were spicy, she cut me off mid-sentence and just pointed to something on the menu without listening. It felt quite rude. Later, she removed my plate the moment I took my last bite—though I wasn’t quite done eating, I felt too awkward to say anything.

However, we decided to give the restaurant another try and visited again on 20th May around 8:30 PM. This time, the experience was much better. I recently visited Angan Restaurant, and I had a really great experience. What I loved most is that they serve both South Indian and North Indian food — and they do both really well.

I tried a few dishes from each side of the menu. The dosa and sambar were hot and flavorful, just like you’d expect from a good South Indian kitchen. I also had butter chicken with naan, and it was rich, creamy, and full of taste. Everything was fresh, and the portions were generous too.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome and gave some good recommendations. The place was clean and had a calm, comfortable atmosphere.

I want to start by saying that I really used to enjoy Aangan food. Even recently, I ordered their tandoori chicken for dinner at home. Tonight I visited this store and ordered me some goat biriyani. Sorry to say, but that was not a biriyani. They took different rice and mixed curry goat in it. I'm simply so angry and annoyed at the blunder they've made of the dish. On top of that, the sound of the television and party upstairs was quite distracting. While going to the restroom, I could see all the piled up dirty dishes on the table of what is meant to be a seating area for customers. The only funny thing were the funny placards in the washroom.
