I recently had the misfortune of dining at "Afghan Ghalji" restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience I wish I could erase from my memory. The restaurant's mission was to provide the blandest, most uninspiring dishes possible. And speaking of the food, it was a true nightmare. To add insult to injury, the service was atrocious. The female Receptionist seemed completely disinterested in our presence, frequently forgetting to bring our full menu and disappearing for long stretches of time. When we asked for recommendations or any modicum of assistance, we were met with a blank stare and a dismissive remark. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a top priority for the staff. This restaurant serves all traditional Pakistani cuisine. Mainly takeaway dishes here and occasionally dine in.

My score would be ☆3.8 just under ☆4 to be not over rated. This is due to the atmosphere of dining area. It always make me so awkward to see no one & no music or no cooking sound (Well, I do hear microwave sound 😰). The low customer service is VERY NORMAL🤷 for Pakistani restaurant in Melbourne but hey, we rate as local common sense for Melbourne locals so, ☆1

I have been a regular customer of this place since last 4 years and this used to be my one stop eating place. But I don't know what has happened to their quality of food since last 6 to 8 months. In haste they serve uncooked food. I just ordered afghan rice with chicken with is $15. They fried the chicken leg on high heat and served me in like 5 min. The chicken inside was all raw. I turned it back. Most recently The quantity has decreased and so is the quality. They have started charging for petty stuff like dips.
