NOT DOG FRIENDLY DESPITE PHONECALL TO PUB TO CONFIRM We arrived at our (dog friendly) accommodation and this pub was in the recommendation folder. We checked on google (âdog friendly pubs near meâ ) and it was listed and also rang to confirm. Was told â we are relaxed about dogs as long as they stay in the beer garden smoking area â So off we set for the 20 min walk with our small pooch. When we attempted to enter the beer garden we were screamed at by a woman âno dog allowedâ. She seemed to be aware of the phonecall because when I told her weâd called to confirm, she said âyou talk to him, he tell youâ. So the sleezy bar guy who spoke to us proceeded to lie and say ââI told you dogs can stay outside the beer garden, on the sidewalkâ and that he said âwe are sometimes relaxed about dogsâ . Buddy you can lie to your manager and lie to yourself, but we both know what you said on the phone. If they canât get this straight, what other shady things are happening elsewhere in the joint or being told...
Read moreWent to this place last night for a Group Renuion. Its a good Old Fashioned pub with all the atmosphere you love from a pub. The smell of beer you cannot miss, it was Awesome. Ordered the Scotch Fillet and it was THE BEST MOST TENDER JUICY Scotch Fillet i have ever ordered at a Pub, lets be honest ANYWHERE đ It litterally melted like butter in your mouth. Recommed it 1000% you wont be disapointed. Also ordered a Greek Salad and that to was awesome nice crisp crunchy lettuce, tasty olives and feta, cherry tomatoes, red onions with an awesome dressing, went down quite well with the Scotch Fillet. Infact ALL the meals that i saw come out looked AMAZING and they were huge portions and well worth the money. I will deff go back 100% to try more things on their menu. The staff were lovely as well, always asking if you were ok if you needed a drink they were very attentive. This Place 5...

The meat itself was tough, fatty and and full of gristle. The chef's idea of medium-rare is medium on the outside and rare in the middle. On top of this, I had to struggle with a very blunt knife. For $38 you really expect better than a piece of barely edible steak, a small bowl of string chips and a few beans. This was once a very good pub/restaurant,...
