Anatolian Grill — Restaurant in Melbourne

Honestly wasn't that impressed, generally when a kebab/grill place like this has decent ratings like this one does, usually they most times live up to the reputation, in this case I was actually quite disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, the quality of the food was...alright, but these people are charging $13 for a basic kebab, at $13 I would expect it to be something pretty special.

And I would barely even call what they make a kebab, it's a kebab in the sense that you have your meat your lettuce, cheese, onion, tomato and garlic sauce, but they use this thick sandwich bread that is cut down the middle, and they sort of wrap it in paper and then just put it in a bag, so I would argue that it's more of a kebab sandwich than anything.

Anyway I wasn't particularly impressed, obviously my opinion is definitely in the minority, but as someone that is well travelled in terms of kebabs, this definitely wasn't one of the better place is that the West...

I went here tonight and I call tell you the service was disgusting , the boss was telling everyone off , it was disorganised , workers making half of peoples orders and then completing the orders 10 minutes later , the stuffed up another ladies order and said it will take 15 minutes to correct , the everyone looked confused , i ordered 2 meals and got 1 lot of chips and the manager said that I didn’t order 2 meals and I did pay for it , I asked her a few times before leaving and still argued with me , I haven’t been here in years and I certainly won’t be going there anytime in the near future, I got home and the food was cold and the chicken and lamb was very dry , very disappointed as the place was always good a few years ago , I hope the organisation of this business changes soon because I really wish them well and hope it’s not another business that went down , it might have been a bad night for them who knows...
