Bakers Delight Mornington — Restaurant in Melbourne

I was just in Bakers Delight at Mornington Central and bought a coffee scroll to have with my coffee. When l sat down to eat it l was very disappointed it was hard and not at all nice.

I went back and explained this to the girl who served me, l said this is hard and not nice do you have anything that is nice and fresh. She said the vanilla bun would be nicer so l said ok l will have that.

She then said is that on card, l said l'm swapping it she said no you can't do that. I said well you keep the coffee scroll and my money and she said ok and l left!

Very ordinary customer service l will always remember this when l walk past and never stop to buy...

The place is great. The breads are delicious. I wish they had more types of bread though,its most all powdered sourdough, white, and whole grain. It's understandable since those are the most popular that people buy, but having a small batch of artisanal bread on a rotating basis would be awesome. The prices are a lot higher than super market bread but it does in fact taste a lot better. Weather it's worth it or not is up to each person. They do have a loyal card where you can get free stuff over time, that sure is nice. Also a reviewer said it was cash only and that is not true. This store has a eftos machine you can...
