Main Grill Chicken, Salads, Burgers, Souvlaki’s, HSP’s and Kebabs — Restaurant in Melbourne

I'll preface this review stating I ordered at 8pm and picked up at 8:20pm (they close at 9pm). We all enjoyed our meals and will return to try other food from them for sure.

I'll start with the scores of what I had ordered.

-Onion rings 10/10 Some of the best you'll find anywhere, even the seasoning they add is tasty.

-Chips 10/10 Similar to their onion rings, great product.

-Charcoal Chicken 8/10 Flavour was great, char on the chicken was great but it was a bit dry.

-PeriPeri chicken 8/10 The sauce they add to the chicken is very tasty, not overly spicy which will make this a crowd pleaser.

-Southern fried chicken 4/10 I'd probably skip this going forward, it was very dry and lifeless, probably because of the time I ordered, since I ordered 3 pieces and had gotten 6 which is super kind of them but feels like they were just getting rid of left overs.

-Korean fried chicken 6/10 Similar to the southern fried chicken (is it the same chicken just with an added sauce?) it was very dry and lifeless chicken, but the sauce was tasty. Very punchy in all the right ways.

-Gravy 7/10 I don't want to be presumptuous but it might be just packet gravy with their chicken drippings added. Which is not bad at all, it was very tasty, not salty or overly sweet. The only major con was that it...

I recently discovered the gem of our neighborhood – the local chicken shop run by a dedicated owner who oversees his two stores with impeccable attention to detail. From the moment you step in, it's evident that the staff are not just employees but well-trained professionals, committed to delivering exceptional service.

The vibe, the food, the atmosphere was beyond amazing, I cant remember the last time we went out for a meal and felt like we were at home, there were 9 of us (4 adults 5 kids) which is stressful as it is but the lovely owners ( I assume and hope) were so accommodating, kind and considerate we instantly felt at ease and welcomed they offered to move tables to allow the whole group to sit together they brought out additional chairs and all with a smile (we didn't even ask for table configurations to be changed), then came the food which was faultless everything we ordered ( from chips, chips and gravy, burgers, chicken burger, popcorn chicken, souvalaki and salad) was FANTASTIC!!! And reasonably priced, everything was fresh and full of flavour. Sad to say we are leaving to head home tomorrow but would absolutely make the trek back to visit this Main Grill in Main street only request would be ..."Can you open up in Geelong PLEASE!
