Baketico by Wonder Pies Collingwood — Restaurant in Melbourne

I’ve lived in Melbourne for three years, and one of the biggest regrets I have is not discovering Baketico sooner! The vast selection of pies, pasties, rolls and desserts makes it so hard to choose, but luckily they keep well and heat up perfectly fresh and crispy in the air fryer. My first two trips, I leaned toward the traditional, choosing a sausage roll, shepherds pie, and Thai chicken pie accompanied by a lemon delicious cake and banana bread, plus a family sized chicken and vegetable pie for dinner later in the week. My next trip, I’ll try the mac ‘n cheese pie or maybe the lasagna pie or cheeseburger pastie which is topped with a pickle! My partner opted for a spinach ricotta roll (his fav) and said it was the best he’s ever had.

I recently purchased a muffin which was fresh, well-made, and not overly sweet. I have also enjoyed the pies and other sweets from your bakery, which have all been of excellent quality.

However, on this occasion I was accidentally charged for an extra item. I had to return to obtain a copy of the receipt to confirm the error, after which I was refunded. While I appreciate the prompt resolution, I would suggest that staff take extra care when processing transactions, as customers are not always able to view the items being charged.

I've been here a few times now. There is seating outside but not inside.

This time, I brought a meat n' gravy pie. Not all pies are available each day.

The meat n' gravy pie was really tasty with a golden pastry, and the filling was chunky beef and minced meat. Personally, I'd prefer chunky beef only.
