The Yorkshire Hotel pub is a typical traditional Australian pub with rustic and wood interior design. The pub/restaurant was very spacious and really good to organise any sort of events / functions.
They do have garden beer section where you can enjoy the summer in Melbourne while having drinks. The vibe and atmosphere were great and cosy. The customer service was pretty good and friendly.
They do have specials on the weekday from Monday - Thursday (Monday - Parma, Tuesday - Wagyu Beef Burger, Wednesday - 250g Porterhouse Steak, Thursday - Curry) with the price range between $15.00 - $20.00.
I ordered Chicken Parma (crumbed chicken breast with tomato and capsicum, ham, mozzarella, mixed leaf salad and fries) for $24.00. The portion was pretty generous and the chicken parma was nicely cooked and well seasoned. The chicken was also tender and not dry :) The chicken parma came with fries and salad on the side. The fries were served warm, crispy and also well seasoned. Not the best but it was still a decent Parma.
Overall, I had a great lunch in Yorkshire Hotel pub. It was decent food and generous portion though the price was slighly pricey for a classic pub meal.

Read moreWaste of time. If you have any type of allergy you are not welcome here. In today's world and through years of personal experience I find it hard to find a kitchen either 1) can't advertise they can't or won't cater for allergies or similary not cook with nuts for example to avoid that or 2) what modern day kitchen can't contain foods from cross contamination? Considering the allergy is at the very extreme end as in ambulance/hospital within 15minutes or death and has never been a problem before either with informing and being catered for and most importantly no reaction to any food I'm quite taken back by this evenings reaction, especially after sitting down for near half hour before being told. The food might be great but due to the above we were never given a...
Read moreSeven of us came to the Yorkshire Stingo Hotel, locally known as ‘Stingo’s’ for bingo karaoke on a Wednesday night, and to enjoy a bev along with a good pub meal. Among us, we enjoyed the chicken burger, beef burger and chicken parma. I didn’t know what to expect for the bingo karaoke, but it was definitely a lively experience, with the inclusion of people standing on tables and singing, people dancing out in the rain, and people being shot in the mouth with an alcoholic water gun. I think the whole bingo thing was abandoned, and it just became a performance of confident young drunk people singing together on a stage. Thank you to Stingo’s for the great venue and for hosting such an...
