Bar HumBug — Restaurant in Melbourne

Came in for 1 drink with my partner and stayed for 5 & food! There were 2 young blokes serving on the bar and they were fantastic! Friendly, smiling and fast on their service. They had a happy hour on when we were there so glass of house wine $5 and CC & Dry was under $10. We ordered the chicken strips (which taste amazing) and the bowl of fries which is surprisingly large. Nice cozy little vibe in the venue perfect winter stop but would like to check it out in summer as well. To the owner, give those 2 young blokes a pat on the back because they were very customer centric and did their job extremely well! Definitely...

Went here with some friends. Someone saw it and somehow we collectively said ok lets go in.

This place reminded me of the haunts we used to go to during university days or at least when I was younger.

It was just cosy enough for small group of friends. Not such a large place that you are drowned out by everyone's noise.

Some groups were playing connect four, some were laughing about something, others were watching the footy.

I am not sure if i would go here when its packed but definitely in the list to bring small group of friends...

I was disgusted to be given the wrong meal at Bar Humbug. I ordered a gluten free meal and was given one with gluten, white flour.... Fortunately I realised after the first tortilla but it was much too late and have paid the price all week being a coeliac.
