Barker is hugeee in New Zealand which has been standing strong for more than 40 years 🤯 They started with wines, then using the techniques of creating wines they explored the possibility of creating different products which landed them with their famous jams, curds, compotes, chutney, relish, savory sauces, dessert sauces, and many more ‼️ They definitely have everything you need in terms of staple ingredients to stock up your pantry 🥰
We have tried some of their collections during their private event, in terms of chutney we loved the Green Tomato flavor, for jam I’d go with Raspberry and Andrew enjoyed the Apricot, and for compote I liked the passionfruit and Andrew liked the Rhubab.

I'm kind of particular about eggs. I like them creamy but not wet but not spongey. The folded eggs on the menu were eggsellent (hah) both times i ordered them.
The shop itself is located on a quiet part of Park Street, is sunny all hours of the day, and is a preemo place to have a sit and a coffee. The staff are super nice and welcoming and can tell you anything about the sauces they sell in store.
