Been here over 100 times for the last 10 yrs. Friendly staff considered I was their regular. But the food always hit and miss. I can order special broken rice, all good no drama. Then came back ordered same dish found they used the pork from previous night to re cook, which made the pork with no taste and turned really hard to chew and eat. Same with all other dishes, like salt pepper chicken spare ribs with rice. One time good then next time overcoated and was eating the coating more than the chicken. Happened twice - Sunday chef couldn't cook and put no flavor on dishes (salted fish fried rice cooked with oil and chicken and flavorless). Twice barely finished half and walked out. Complaint to owner they just kept quiet. Won't be coming back for a long time, plenty of other places to eat.

The extensive menu and keen pricing is what coaxed me inside even though there were no diners present at 6:30pm nor people queued for takeaway. The satay chicken was coated in peanut saw that was very oily and had no hint of spice. The prawn with rice noodles dish I ordered was both watery and oily without much flavour. SAgain, I was surprised that in this Thai Restaurant no spice appeared to have been used. The prawns were served tail on but had little to no flavour to contribute to the meal. Together these two dishes came to a total cost of $26.00 It is unlikely that I will return as there are far better options on this High Street strip albeit a little more expensive.

The food was quick to come out and was super fresh and piping hot which is good. The fish cakes were nice, flavourful, but were served with some sweet chilli sauce, which wasn’t the best. The noodles, although fresh lacked any real flavour. Added some chillies and chilli oil which helped somewhat. Perhaps they do other fines better with a lot more flavour.

We have not tried something that bad for a long time. And, if people wonder what I am talking about, I have spent almost 30 years in the South East Asia eating Vietnamese/Thai food.

As usually, whenever ordering from a new restaurant, we pick up familiar/fairly popular dishes so we can see if the restaurant make them right. We ended up ordering 6 dishes totally and saying that every single one of them off the mark is a gentle statement.

The BBH (Vietnamese spicy noddle) is completely wrong. It is really a bow of hot water and chilli oil, completely out of portion with anything else in the boil. the noodle is overcooked to the extent that it keeps breaking when picked up. the ingredient is wrong. There is no herbs, no pork knuckle. The Vietnamese ham is slighly off and start to have bad smell. Really, if the chef follows any recipient he could find online regarding this dish, it will be much better.

I decided not to go into too much details with other dishes. BBH discribed abobe is really a better dish compared to the rest. At least, we can bite out tongue and had half of the it. Some of the rest...

For our love for Thai food we went to this place testerday for dinner. Initial aura and ambience of place was good. They have an elaborate menu to choose from and serve flask of hot tea which was quite impressive. We ordered the food and had a starter which was some roti with minced chicken i guess and i saw it was quite oily but we ate it as we were hungry and pored out all excess oil. Then came our main course which was rice with satay chicken which was ok but did not at all looked or tasted authentic thai or vietnamese. Their signature dish the shefs special fried rice was a big time mess. The fried chicken pieces they had kept on top looked tepting but after taking a bote i felt like puking. It was dull of oil and that too not good one. I left my food there and went to clear my bill. There i told the owner about the ouly chicken to which he reponded very arrigantly that it is like this only. I was suprised to see that first you are serving bad food and on top of it you are being rude. I really didnt like it and wont go...

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!

  1. my friend poured herself some tea and there was a hair in it. 2) my friend ordered a chicken dish, as soon as she ate she knew something wasn't right and didn't eat the rest of the dish (i tried it too) - THE CHICKEN WASN'T COOKED. My friend then went up to tell the owner, who handled the situation poorly and she started yelling in anger towards her workers. No compensation was made in order to make it up to her and was quite frankly just rude for someone who is in the hospitality business and is supposed to have people skills. 3) reluctantly they let my friend change her order after the head chef said "what do you want me to do about it" shocker the beef was OVER COOKED. 4) They charged us $3 extra for fried rice - which literally just had rice and egg - RICE AND EGG, the lady neglected to tell us when we ordered that it was extra. My friend and I are now really sick and cant stop vomiting. Disappointing. I will...
