Warning*If you are not Chinese, Please do not go to this place.

It sounds racist, but this experience in C-Culture gave me a lesson why some Chinese do not deserve respect.

I went this restaurant with my family. I ordered Deep Fried Chicken. A waitress brought out the dish which was Roasted Chicken not Deep Fried Chicken. It was very obvious. There was no batter or oil anywhere as it was Roasted. I said that I have ordered Deep Fried Chicken NOT Roasted Chicken. The waitress said that the dish that she brought out is Roasted Chicken NOT Deep Fried Chicken. The waitress said that the waiter who took out order (Very rude and Arrogant) made a wrong order.

The waitress said that the dish is NOT DEEP FRIED CHICKEN.

Guess what happened next... Unbelievable.

Suddenly, all staff started to discuss in Chinese and said this dish is Deep Fried Chicken NOT Roasted Chicken. It was exactly look like roasted chicken that they put on the wall for the advertising. And they said apparently Chinese Deep Fried Chicken does not look like KFC chicken. It looks like Roasted Chicken.

I said I work in the restaurant too and sell the exactly same thing but this is not Deep Fried Chicken. My boyfriend who were there is a Chef. He also said that NO WAY this can be Deep Fried Chicken.

I said the waitress also said that it is wrong order. This dish is not Deep Fried Chicken. Other staff and manger said the waitress who I spoke to does not speak any English (She spoke fluent English with me 1 minute ago when she brought the food out). I said to her about this and she started to pretend she does not speak any English and started to speak Chinese to me.

I have been working in the restaurant and I know how to read the item name which they put the order through. When I went to pay the bill I saw their system had wrong chicken item for my bill NOT Deep Fried Chicken

The waiter obviously made a wrong order. Manager and staff decided fooled around us because we are not Chinese. all the sudden by pretending they do not speak any English and lying how Chinese Deep Fried...

Been to C-Culture for the past 15 years. Witnessed the manager (?) full on arguing with a customer re paying with a bank card that doubles up as a saving card. The customer stated that the staff had previously accepted it and the past C-Culture transactions had been processed from her savings account. Customer was very calm. What really irked me was that the manager started yelling at her, cutting her off in mid-sentence, saying she wasn't listening (the irony) and to take her business elsewhere if she wasn't happy. I thought that was shocking attitude from a small business owner. After the customer left, the manager continued to rant about her to his staff in Mandarin for a good 20 minutes, which I thought was extremely unprofessional and poor, arrogant form of him. The other wait staff are friendly people. It has honestly made me think twice about giving them business after witnessing this and our family has always patronised this place. Their roast meats used to be of a higher quality years back. I would advise anyone going there to beware of this manager's overly sensitive, arrogant and defensive personality that comes out on any credit card/savings card payment issues. You might get a rude shock. There is a past similar review on Google that he has replied to - you will understand when...

Don’t like to leave bad reviews of small businesses. But I’m genuinely concerned about the hygiene of the place. The table cloths are like a papery disposable cloth but have clearly been left on for a time. They are ripped and filthy. Not appetising to eat on. Food came out in less than 5 minutes and was not sizzling like the dish suggested. The meat did not taste fresh and was soggy, sort of formless and a choking hazard, drenched in sauce, and eating it started to make me feel disgusted. The tea even tasted poorly. A server sneezed repeatedly into her hands and did not sanitise or wash them before handing me a cup and going on to serve food. Even the soap was not real soap. It feels very grimey. The consistency of food is bizarrely gelatinous and having now read some of the reviews, I think maybe have been microwaved. Their duck is possibly their good dish, but I just did not feel comfortable whatsoever continuing to eat. I started to wonder if I would get sick. The cashier and waiter were both friendly and accommodating. I hope in future they take more pride in their food, and put hygiene at the forefront. Running a business in hospitality is really hard so I always want a place to win but It’s so important to ensure cleanliness or people can...

Amazing food is definitely the highlight of this place. We dined in, and as the only people in the restaurant, service was no frills but very fast and nicely attentive. The food however, especially for its price point, was absolutely sublime. The pipis in particular were some of the best I have had in a super generous portion, and the duck was also extremely delicious, with crispy skin, a succulent layer of fat, and delicious flavourful meat. Also enjoyed the beans a lot, with the siu yuk being nice as well. It was so nostalgic and lovely being served sliced oranges at the end of the meal as well! I think that to enjoy your time here, you just need to temper your expectations and understand that super attentive, friendly, chatty service is not the vibe. And in some ways, nor should it be - isn’t it nice for people to be able to come into work and not have to run down their social battery chatting with customers? I think that when you come in expecting great food and no frills service here, you’re set to have a great time. Would highly recommend.

Man i made mistake to come back to C-Culture, forgot 3 yrs ago when i ordered BBQ pork rice, it was full of fat and barely any meat and ended up hungry stomach as couldn't eat. I frequent preston market and dine nearby restaurants but never to C-Culture again except today my frequent restaurant closed and the other Msian restaurant across the road seemed fully seated. I walked past C-Culture and thought to just walk in and order Roast duck rice. Yes the price is now $16.5, gone up again, but smaller portion. The guy cut mostly bones and very little meat. I've posted the picture, just bones, fats and little meat, still plenty of rice. I ended up hungry and have to do some cooking. Can't believe this place still open. I have been here 2 times in 3+ years and both time were a total ripped off. Again, i told myself never again to come to this place.

I eat here a lot, the food is always perfect. On this occasion I ate, premium beef on a sizzling hot plate with broccoli and mushroom. It was delicious, I score it a billion out of ten, it was supreme delicious. The broccoli soaks of a black pepper sauce, the premium beef was, soft juicy, tender and I wanted more. I sizzling plate per person is abundant. The wanting of more comes from a bowl of rice to further soak up the plentiful juice of black pepper. The mushrooms were perfection. I had my dinner with a can of coke, it was ample, I walked out feeling azing, I got the best dinner for 40 dollars. Amazing excellent, I recommend you to eat black pepper, premium beef on a sizzling plate with broccoli and mushroom. I loved it
