The team at Beit Siti are incredible, with kind and efficient customer service and delicious food to match. I reached out to Rahaf a Sunday evening a few weeks ago regarding catering and the following day, she called me to gather all details for the end of the week. The food was so flavourful and we surprised mum to be with an assortment of vegan goods from what started as one of her fave food trucks and now transpired to this. Everything was freshly made the morning of, and packed up into practical boxes. Iman helped me on arrival to the cafe to take things to the car and just each part of this order was done with care and thoughtfulness. I am overjoyed to have Beit Siti as part of my community. How many places are so dedicated that they'll laminate and bake their own pastries? And they're beautiful. Look at that house-made labaneh with strawberry, pomegranate, dill jam (who knew Palestinian flavours would have so much cross-over with my Slavic tastes?). Look at the vego twist on a musakhan danish. And that's just the start, I can't wait until the full menu drops. I have heard so many wonderful things about Rahaf's food and community projects so I was excited to see the cafe open while I was changing buses this afternoon. Grabbed a delicious takeaway coffee. Constance beans are rich and sweet. I also got a spicy vegan date slice for free because it's Eid! And they have coworking hours on Monday and Tuesday with bottomless batch brew and a slice of homemade focaccia for $10! Looking forward to going back for...
