Biryani Nation Tarneit — Restaurant in Melbourne

Poor Service, below average food. Not going back again. Ordered Goat Curry, yellow daal, 2 butter naans, fried chicken biryani,1 lassi and Limca. 15 mins after the order a man appears with Goat Curry and 2 naans. Goat had no curry in it and it just appeared as if the pieces of goat were dipped into curry and oil and then served. 10 mins later after asking for rest of the order drinks come in and 5 minutes after that biryani. The lassi had a fly in it so it was returned. Till this time they were completely oblivious of the fact that the yellow daal hasn't been served yet. So I again had to ask for yellow dal and if it is was coming. 5 mins later it is served and now I didn't have the naan to eat it with. So had to wait another 10 mins for 1 roti that I ordered. By now my frustration level had passed the tipping point and I along with the family decided to leave. I went up to the counter and observed the girl on the cash till having a verbal argument with a customer over the phone, so I realised I wasn't the only lucky customer. As they realised me standing there, the boss asked the girl to go in the kitchen to finish her conversation and directed the waiter who was serving me to collect the money. I expressed my discomfort and the apalling experience to him and he just smiled at me and stated $53. I paid the amount and just left. Oh yes I did enjoy the LIMCA. Might go back for that and only if it's the last can available on this planet earth. Being a biriyani addict I have visited almost every good biriyani destination in Melbourne. On Christmas night, I visited the place with my family for Dinner. we ordered pachi mirchi paneer biryani and paneer hot and crispy. Biryani was so spicy I am Indian and I couldn’t even have it without the sip of water although paneer Was good, but Main thing was the service provided by the Manager, we didn’t get green chutney with the paneer and he was like we are just running out of stock. Also, we order Mango lassi which is room temperatured and also they don’t have cool bottle of water. They just have tap-water in this summer although he was not at all Sorry for none of the thing and he was like yeah we just don’t have. funny thing Is he also don’t Have mouth freshener at the end. the manager was very rude. His name is Ashok. I am totally disappointed If you don’t want the same gesture from the manager, please don’t visit the place. Secondly at that particular time he mentioned we are running out of stock in green chutney if it’s true he needs to mention this when he is taking order. I had to edit my review after seeing the response from the owner.

1. I am not a person to show any of my personal frustrations on any business and my reveiw is GENUINE. If you want you can look at my other reviews.
2. I visited your restaurant thrice to check if you have changed anything because I don't want to review in very first visit. As I know how the hospitality industry works.

FYI to the owner, I used to work as a chef in one of the reputed restaurant in Melbourne.

3. If a chicken biriyani has 8 pieces its acceptable but goat meat is small piece of meat and I didn't pay $50 for a mountain of safron rice. None of the customers will say I need more meat, simply they are not going to return.

4. I don't want your refund and I just want you to serve proper food for the money we pay.

5. As you can see the photos, there were no masala in the biriyani. Just the safron rice.

Finally, If you can't take a negative review and don't want to change it and just blame the customers, then you gonna loose even more customers.

I want to give zero star or negative point to this restaurant..This is the worst place to buy biriyani.. not once,twice, third time these guys have packed me with just plain safron rice with just two or three pieces of goat in my biriyani.. every time I ask for my biriyani to be spicy but always I got bland and flavorless one..
