My family and I enjoy dining at Gami in Wyndham Village, Tarneit on special occasions. It's exciting to support a Filipino-owned restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are extremely accommodating. Our experiences at Gami have always been wonderful. Today, we chose to celebrate my son's graduation with a small family gathering.

After calling the restaurant, Ed, who assisted with our reservation, was extremely helpful. He even sent a message before our dinner to inquire if we were celebrating any special occasion. I informed him that we were having a modest gathering to mark my son's graduation from sixth grade. In response, he suggested that we could place a pre-order in advance of our reservation.

Upon arrival, we noticed a thoughtful decoration in honor of Jacob's 6th grade completion, arranged by him. It was greatly appreciated as my son tends to shy away from attention. But I could tell he felt very special and I am grateful for the effort Ed put into making him feel that way. The unexpected touch added a 5-star element to our dining experience at Gami and we are thankful to Ed and the staff for creating such a memorable meal.

Throughout the evening, the staff at Gami were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate Jacob's graduation. It was a kind gesture that made our dinner even more enjoyable

I got refunded $40 instead of my original bill of $23 - that says it all!! Please send me your bank account number to return your bribe to keep quite.

Still the timings at the time of writing show that their shop is open until at least 9PM on Mon-Wed.

There are other reviews where the shop offers complimentary food to keep people from writing negative feedback.

I only tried to let people know that if they go by advertised closing times, they will end up being disappointed. However, the business not only disregards local authorities such as the council, they also asked me that they trust me not to visit the business again.

Poor management. Placed an order at 08:18 for someone to pickup at 08.40, paid in advance. I receive a call stating that the shop closes at 8PM on Wednesday, I think he said Mon, Tue, Wed.

No apologies or regret at all. The caller, seemed to be the owner as who else would call after they're closed, was wondering how their system accepts orders after closing time. Guess what he would know about his kitchen!!

Gami Chicken & Beer Tarneit at Wyndham Village is an absolute must for anyone craving authentic Korean flavours!

I stopped by for lunch over the weekend, and I’m still daydreaming about it days later. From the moment we walked in, the colourful and welcoming interiors, along with the cute artwork, made for such a lovely atmosphere.

We went straight for the fried boneless chicken—Gami’s signature dish—and wow, it did not disappoint! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with that authentic Korean taste we came for. Honestly, we were stuffed, but I can’t stop thinking about how good it was.

As a sucker for anything lychee, I couldn’t resist ordering the Gami Ade Lychee... and it was so delicious, I had to have two! My partner went for the Premier beer, which paired perfectly with the meal.

We also ordered Japchae because I had to try the mushrooms—such a tasty and satisfying dish!

The service was professional and super friendly, and the food arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Totally recommend Gami Chicken and will definitely be back...
