Had to stand there on a weekday waiting for a table and the staff were walking past me. I had to grab the attention of someone at the front.
I chose to sit outside but the scanners on the table werenāt working so I ordered at the counter, no biggie at all. I ordered an iced latte and they didnāt ask if I wanted any sugar or sweeteners and provided none at the tables outside.
Furthermore, ordered the saddest BLT id ever seen or tasted. Staff came by and provided a BLT in a cardboard container - assuming I was going for takeaway perhaps? Despite the fact that they gave me a coffee in a glassā¦
No cutlery provided and literally zero customer service.
I had to bring my coffee from outside to inside and ask for honey and wait there as they filled it as opposed to them offering to bring it outside.
Had to eat the BLT outside via cardboard box š BLT was flavourless and very wet and sloppy too.
** additional info for the review based on the owner's response which is quite frankly disappointing. Not once did I complain about the method of ordering, I stated it was no biggie that I had to order at the counter. Also, no I was not advised about the method of ordering. This review makes me sound like I complain and whine about serve constantly but I rarely ever do unless it is quite evident. I know how much reviews can affect a business however - the owner's response indicates a lack of awareness of poor customer service and instead tries to justify it as opposed to accepting constructive criticism that could assist - I understand that the male server would have been busy and have no issues with it. It was the lack of overall attentiveness to my order, the failure to provide any cutlery and a BLT slapped in a carboard box. I wasn't looking for conversation - I've been to many local businesses and have the biggest sympathy when it's busy. However, if a customer chooses to sit outside it the standard of customer service should not drop and they shouldn't be neglected. The owner's response and sarcasm is downright rude... I would not have ever responded to a reply...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in last weekend for lunch with my son. Staff were friendly and cafe was clean. This cafe is located in the shopping centre and has two entrances available to use. Didnāt wait very long for food or coffee, but unfortunately thatās where my experience turned from a positive to a negative. The coffee was awful, like the beans had not been extracted properly. The bagel which clearly states on the menu comes with a side salad, did not, which means it is the most expensive bagel at nearly $24 Iāve ever had in Melbourne. Although presented nicely, the taste was not great and my sonās waffle was just a microwave waffle, which had not been freshly made. This place has a lot of potential to do well with so many attractions near by like Flipout and Timezone as they donāt offer food like this, but the food quality needs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBooked a table for Breakfast this morning and was seated quickly. Food was great, we got the ricotta pancakes (AMAZING) & a beef burger, coffee was lovely too. I have been here a few times & the availability of food has been hit & miss (they often run out of items, even pre covid), but always good. The girl who served us today was not an overly friendly person. Not enough for me to drop a star, but, she was very blunt and borderline rude. I told her the food was great because I had left a large amount and didn't want them to think there was anything wrong, I got a "hmmm, that's $50". However, food was lovely, place is lovely and majority of the time...
