Caren's in town today. So, I asked for the cheesy garlic on the teriyaki chicken sub. Pointed to the poster in the store to make sure he knew what I meant, described again what I wanted, then moved aside to allow other customers to order while I waited for tasty garlicness to toast. I'm sitting in my car about to eat my subway only to discover that he's given me cheesy garlic bread and a separate teriyaki chicken without the cheesy garlic together. So close but yet so far. So I go inside to tell him and he replies by saying I didn't use the word ultimate and I paid for it. I did pay for it, my soul is sad. Highly Unprofessional Franchise Owners - the girl who was making the sub burnt the bread, and cheese was dissolved/absorbed into the bread. I told the lady (the owner's sister) who was at the cash counter, and her response - my staff is only 15 years old, you can't give her that feedback. The person who prepared my salad seemed to go out of their way to pick the worst ingredients available. Every topping looked wilted, old, or just unappetizing—and he picked those pieces deliberately. The final straw was the cookies. I ordered two raspberry macadamia cookies, and he intentionally chose the two worst-looking ones: one from the top, one from the bottom of the tray, both clearly overbaked and darker than even the chocolate chip cookies themselves.
