I'm on a new diet plan - HOLE foods only, like the bagels from Bricklane Bagels 🤭

On the menu: 🍅 Hummus, tomato, feta, za'atar, lemon & lemon oil drizzle with a poppyseed bagel

🥯 Salmon, cream cheese, red onion, capers, dill & lemon oil drizzle with the everything bagel

🐟 Tuna, mayo, spring onion, lemon, capsicum & melted cheese with a jalapeno cheese bagel

🍖 Pastrami, mustard, melted swiss cheese topped with pickles with a sesame bagel

My friends and I came here after a gruelling boxing session 🥊 four different bagels between four people means we got to try half of each type of bagel (so thankful it was easy cutting). But the GRATE part was, everyone had their own individual favourite, which means all the bagels here are fantastic 😍

My personal favourite was the tuna - melted cheese is one of the many ways to my heart, paired with the jalapeno cheese bagel? It's BRIE-lliant, you definitely GOUDA try it! 🤤

Bricklane Bagels is 100% worth the visit! Delicious! I have coeliac disease, so I’d have never have thought to try here if it wasn’t for it being a recommendation on the GF app. The staff are well informed on coeliac disease, so prepared my gluten free bagel separately to avoid cross-contamination. The bagel itself was delicious and toasted to perfection, and the toppings complimented each other really well. The choice of toppings is fantastic - I’ll have to come back to try the other flavours! The staff even said they have gluten free Vegemite too! The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and warm - and so lovely to one another, it seemed like a lovely team, which made the atmosphere very comfortable....

Food is good here but the service is not. The manager seems to think it's funny to apologise rather than do it with genuine intent. I dont think he cares about customers its all about the money here as the pricing is high when compared to other bagel shops, its very transactional with no warmth in their approach. The tables were not clean either - and its happend more than once to me in this cafe where they have not bothered to keep it clean! When making the bagels today I saw one woman rub her nose and sniff as she made it. That plus the rude manager was not a great experience. Im glad they gave me a refund at least.
