Have always enjoyed burrito bar and we regularly order from there, whether it be in person or via online. However our latest ordeal with Burrito Bar has left us more than dissatisfied. We ordered online via Menulog which we’ve never had issues with before. We ordered at roughly around 6.50pm. At around 7.40pm we called up asking if our food had been picked up yet as we were yet to receive it. To which they said no. We asked if we could pick the food up ourselves however as it had been sitting there for an hour, it’d be cold and soggy by now. It wasn’t a cheap order either, especially in the pressing economy we live in now, so we weren’t exactly keen on picking up cold, soggy food. We asked if Burrito Bar would remake this as there is no point in us picking up inedible food. To which the lady on the phone, who was nothing but rude , told us no because it’s not their problem. Given the food had sat there for an hour in their restaurant, in their care, you’d think perhaps they would accept some responsibility on it. Having worked in places that deal with Uber eats, menu log and places alike the establishment has some form of responsibility if the products are not picked up. The person waiting on the other end is still YOUR customer.
It was a pretty simple request to ask for our food to be remade due to it being cold and soggy. Who would want to eat that ? It was the rudeness of the woman on the phone as well which rubbed myself and my family the wrong way. Extremely disappointing behaviour and service from a restaurant we use to love getting...
Read moreWe used to eat at Burrito Bar Point Cook once a week because we live local. There are few times we were disappointed.. In so many occasions they ran out of ribs very early during the early night (we normally come around 6pm) and they changed the drink on that promo late last year..instead of SOL, we can only have the premix coke..disappointing..but ok.. we try to understand that...maybe they didn't make enough money. But we still come because we really enjoy the ribs, pulled beef nachos and chocolate nachos.
Yesterday we decided we will never go back again! We booked a table for 6pm, as we got there the lady at the counter just ignored us, no greeting, no eye contact. We understand that she was busy but she can at least greet and tell us to wait. We waited patiently for 5minutes before decided to ask her about the reservation. She didn't reserve us a table and bluntly just telling us the only table available was the one in the corner.
When we ordered the ribs deal, one server said they run out of the deal but can still serve the non deal ribs menu, when I came back to the cashier with my husband the same lady that ignored us when we walked in told us that they run out of ribs 2 hours ago (at 4pm?), funny we saw another server just serving a table 2 portions of ribs as she said that.
My husband was furious.. Last night was our first date night after 6 months of lockdown and we left hungry and disappointed. Lucky we could get a table at another restaurant in the...
Read moreZero stars. I’ve lost $75 and did not get my order. My name is RACHEL but I received an order meant for REBECCA. Look at the photo of the leaky paper bag! Before Rebecca, the name Taylah-Jade P. was written and crossed out. The business is a disorganised hot mess. But we all make mistakes. But nobody on the phone in the Burrito Bar Point Cook would admit to making an error. They made zero effort to fix the problem and kept blaming the Uber Eats driver. They wanted us to place another order!! What makes me angry is that they didn’t care, didn’t accept responsibility and had no understanding of how this treatment of customers can backfire. Typically, the Manager, a Mr Patel was more concerned about saving a few dollars tonight, rather than considering all the dollars he will lose when customers stop coming. Greedy and short-sighted. I told Mr Patel that he was behaving dishonourably and should be ashamed of himself. No reaction from the grub. Well I hope REBECCA got MY order and at least had something to eat for dinner tonight. I suspect Taylah-Jade P. got nothing for her money. My advice, if you really must have a burrito, don’t order over the phone, go into the store to make sure you get your order. You’ll see Mr Patel. He’ll be the little man hunched over, protecting the cash register whispering,...
