Schnitz Point Cook — Restaurant in Melbourne

Dear Owner

Appreciate you offering a replacement meal however your offer is declined. The meals purchased were inedible they were heavily coated in salt , my snitznel was overcooked and dry parts of the ends burnt and my order was incomplete and had to follow up the staff for the remainder of the meal. Hence the food was not eaten and most of it left there .

It is not only a matter of how food is cooked whats important is the way food is prepared and presented. Hygiene and cleanliness are also important factors. If you take the time to read your restaurant reviews you will also note another customer complaining of food handling in your restaurant and others also complaining of over cooked food and incomplete orders etc.

May I suggest that better staff training is implemented and better quality control and that tables are hygienically sanitised and wiped prior to accommodating restaurant customers.

Went Schnitz in Point Cook today called a waiter who looked at me and continued to clear plates.

Sat down at a table it was completely unclean and had not been wiped or sanitised it was full of water spills cleaned the table myself with sanitised wipes completely black marks from the unclean table

Ordered nuggets and a burger the nuggets had to be returned as tgey were so full of salt they were inedible they forgot the chips on the side and had to remind them.

Point Cook Schnitz- bad experience again!

My first complaint ever, I would never do this usually. But it has to be said!

I phoned ahead for a Parma & Chips, told 15 mins. Arrived on time, paid & waited close the cook. Who i've never seen before, her arms have severe exzcema she should not be front of service: She looks diseased and she is touching food! I watched her make and pack several Parma's, over 20mins waiting... she finally look up at me and says "what are waiting for?" then hands me a bag that was sitting there from before i arrived to the store and chases me towards the doors demanding payment. I told her i paid, she doesn't believe me. I tell her the problem here is that i've just been handed a cold Parma and chips!! she says "You haven't paid" her colleague comes and informs her I did pay! The cook walks off, NO APOLOGY, NO OFFER TO REMAKE MEAL, NOTHING!! I'm left embarrassed in store, customers looking worried over at me. Take my food home and binned it. Waste of time, Waste of money, Feelings hurt, embarrassed at my local shopping centre... Drove there for food, drove home upset- pre ordered to avoid waiting... what a horrible, horrible woman... how is she in customer service? Probably not a good place for someone who have Dietary requirements( like vegetarian and vegan) or eat no meat because of religious beliefs. The place didn't look that hygienic chopping boards were there with all the stuff lying on it. We. Ordered vegetarian loaded fries asked specifically for the vegetarian and vegan stuff we got the fries loaded with gravy. I ate some and found some different taste in it. The thing came in mind from my past experience in hotel industry that gravy is made with beef. Upon asking staff she said no it's vegetarian at the first place and said it's made with vegetables. Upon asking the ingredients she checked properly in the her restaurant menus or from somewhere and came back with the answer that (yes gravy contains beef in it.) Later she apologized and returned the money in return for the order. But we never ate beef and we had to have it as a gravy in this point Cook store. So if you strictly don't eat egg, meat, beef, pork or any sort of meat please double check the sauces as well specially if you are religious. The girl was unaware of the ingredients but I think it's lack of training of the store management where they should let staff know what contains what. Very bad experience ruined our day still feel...
