Walked in for a booking at 6.15pm, seated and ordered entrees , mains and drinks. Entree came out quickly and was delicious. Watched several groups be served, a table that came in at least 20 mins after us, got their entrees and mains. 7.30pm and still no food, 7.38pm the older lady waitress walks over, dumps empty plates down and says "mains coming" no explanation or apology as to why such a long wait. If she had approached us with such, we would have stayed, however after the wait, and the rude attitude from the server, we decided to leave. The cashier was lovely and apologised profusely, if our waitress had the same level of customer service then we definitely would have stayed. Paid for our bill, and even left a tip, as it wasn't the cashiers fault. I understand friday night service can be busy and it would seem our ticket got missed, accidents happen, but some basic customer service and a friendlier demeanour from our waitress would have seen me give a very different review. Please do better, its not hard to be pleasant to customers.
Ended up next door at San Churro, served and eating within mins of walking in the door. (Yes I do understand it's not a restaurant and was only hot chocolates and churros) but their service was quick, pleasant and followed up with us...
Read moreWe went there to have a family dinner night to celebrate our son’s birthday, as we have had good experiences in our past visits here. We booked the table in advance. The hospitality by the restaurant staff was very poor. The waitress was rather busy at cleaning the previous tables than coming to greet us and take our order. After waiting for more than 10 minutes, I went to the counter to ask for a cake cutting knife to which they simply gave a big knife. No apologies or even then did it trigger them to be more attentive to serve our table. Had it not been our son’s birthday, we wouldn’t have continued with our dinner there. Food was below average. Some of the Chinese take away shops make better food than them. Not impressed at all considering they hold the prime location in Point Cook Town Centre. Definitely need to be more accountable for doing a better job. Not...
