Absolutely disgusting service, rude very unpleasant guy who had butt crack out and hands up the front and back of tshirt then right to making food no hand washing nothing . Food was stingy, acted like it was an effort to serve us, slid the plates on the table rudely. People smoking out in outdoor dining and pot plants full of cigarette butts and ash on tables, nothing done about the smoking. Save your money for a clean friendly place

Cafe was good. We went there early, right after it opened so there were only us and 2 other people. It has a good environment and a lot of old school posters. The owner is a good guy and friendly. Menu mostly had toasties and sandwiches freshly made. We had tandoori chicken and roasted veggie sandwishes. They were above average but coffee was good. I might try this one again.

Staffs ok. Price reasonable. Tried latte and not up to the mark. A person after me ordered toastie and the attending person without wearing any gloves grabbed the bread and put those in the toaster. He was wiping the benches with naked hands just before that. How hygienic it should be.

I recently visited this cafe with my friends, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience overall. The atmosphere seemed pleasant at first, but things quickly took a turn for the worse.

Upon our arrival, we ordered our coffees and settled down. However, our group was joined by a fourth friend who brought a juice with him. To our surprise, the owner of the cafe approached our friend and rudely informed him that he was unwelcome, despite the fact that we had all ordered hot beverages from their café. It was completely uncalled for and lacked any sense of etiquette.

Not only was the owner's behavior disrespectful, but his loud and unrefined manner of speaking made the situation even more uncomfortable. We had come to enjoy our time together and relax, but his presence made us feel unwelcome and disrupted our conversation.

As customers, we expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of whether we consume items purchased elsewhere or not. The café owner had no right to pass judgment on our friend or create a hostile environment for us. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this...

Went there first time got take away coffee today, coffee was a bit disappointing given a cafe with a 4.5 star review, and the service was only okay, the staff wiped the excessive foam on the bench using his hand. He pressed the lid on the cup and then it was like he remembered something, he opened the lid again and poured some more milk into the cup…it didn’t seem very hygienic or professional. One latte was charged $4 for a small latte (which was okay) whereas the price on the menu was $3.5, asked the reason and was told that it was the surcharge of the card payment-didn’t have any issue with surcharge it’s everywhere now, however the $0.5 surcharge was obviously more than 10% and less than 15%—happy to support small business but at least give your customers a heads up there is a 10% or 15% surcharge before they make payment, and charge the...

Johnny and the gang run quite a show at this humble little location. You will find the coffee is smooth whilst remaining bold and above all.. unmistakably Italian.

I’ve not eaten here before but the pricing appears to be very affordable and by the look of other patrons plates generously portioned.

Decor is somewhat dated and could use a little love to keep up with times and potentially attract and entice a broader demographic of clientele.

Otherwise the staff are unpretentiously friendly, the service is prompt.

....and smokers aren’t discriminated against as has become widespread practice throughout the state of Victoria despite being some of the most highly pilfered taxpayers in the nation.

Anyhow, Grazie...
