We went as a group with friends and family for dinner on 16th Nov 2024, just looking at the 4.7 ratings it has with 1k+ reviewers There was a immediate red flag when we came to know about no restroom or at least a washbasin to start with, one of our friends visited the railway station for the same which was an embarrassment. The place had a vibe with the music and the artwork on the walls ,while they missed on major hygiene issues. The floor was sticky to go with the tables ,water bottle, crockery and even the sanitizer provided, sanitizer bottle needed to be sanitized. We were already knowing what to expect by the time, and unsurprisingly the food was more disappointing than the hygiene, we ordered 4 curries which are supposed to be 4 completely different flavours ,to be tasting exactly the same and not in a good way either, it was for sure prepared a day before and right from the refrigerator, and the chef which we don't feel is the right term to represent didn't bother to at least heat it well. The positive takeaway was taking the order on a tab, which I don't believe should be the 1st on the must have's in a restaurant, compromising sanitation, unhygienic food and a basic tap to wash your hands before and after food. The place feels like paying a lot of money to the council to keep them running their business
Alert- Please don't travel to the place even if you stay next door, instead save your money and health, have cornflakes and milk and be healthy
This is the 1st eatery which I feel goes in negative reviews if that...
Read moreTerrible experience. We visited today to celebrate some special occasion on our friend's recommendation. To start with, we ordered Amritsari Kulcha, only to taste the STALE and SOUR chickpeas. In one bite we could tell that chickpeas have gone bad. On raising concern, the staff member came with the another lot of chickpeas and to our SHOCK, they were COLD and all we could taste was freshly added canned tomato puree. Probably the chef forgot to reheat it. 🙄 Hence we refused to eat it. As a courtesy and on staff's recommendation, we were served Pav Bhaji which was good. The second dish we ordered was Tawa paneer-mild for kids, and they served medium spicy paneer WITHOUT SALT. I mean no salt at all. Had to add salt on the top. We left the whole bowl as it is. The third dish- Jagga Daku chaap- In first bite, it tasted yum, but we could tell from the texture that it was not freshly cooked. Taste of garlic was so prominent that I could hardly taste anything else. Now talk about dessert- They had advertised on the entrance "Today's special-Rabri Falooda", and looks like it was not our lucky day- they ran out of it when we ordered☹️ Also, when you are dining in, you don't expect to be served in disposables. Anyhow, if the food had tasted good and freshly cooked, we could have ignored the cutlery. So overall, this experience ruined our special day. We are never...
Read moreVery bad experience. Never ate such bad food. I’m not the person who writes a bad review but honestly I was shocked how can someone open up a restaurant and serve such awful food. Total waste of money. We ordered dahi gol gappe (dahi smelled/tasted off), butter naan (felt like frozen ones), paneer gravy (asked for mild to medium spicy) but it was super hot so we couldn’t eat much… curry was full of masalas. Also ordered pav bhaji (worst ever). I specially asked while placing order that do you make fresh tea and the lady said yes, fresh one…. So we ordered tea as well. It was not freshly made… it had taste of cardamom typical machine flavour one.
I think it’s a newly opened restaurant… if you’re thinking of having your business in long run. Please please please take customers seriously. Listen to instructions carefully. If you can’t cater their needs, better say no and let them go.
Things are already so expensive, it feels really bad when we end up wasting our money. It’s just not about money, it’s about the meal, time, and experience.
You will never see me again in your restaurant. Sorry but you lost business from a...
