Now this is what a great burger should taste like- This burger joint needs to be more hyped!! Probably some of the best burgers we’ve had, and would recommend a visit for sure
▪️CENTRAL CHICK — buttermilk fried chicken with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, kewpie mayo ($16) ▪️CENTRAL SHROOM — panko crumbled portobello mushroom with cheese, lettuce, tomato, kewpie mayo ($17) ▪️CHICKEN SMASH PACK — buttermilk chicken, cheese, tater tots, onions, pickles, BBQ sauce and spicy mayo ($21) ▪️ONION RINGS ($7) ▪️BISCOFF MILKSHAKE ($7) ▪️STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM MILKSHAKE ($7)
The buns very soft and the burger isn’t as overly oily unlike a lot of other burger joints. The burger was so juicy, and they were generous with their filling, meaning each bite you get some patty, lettuce and tomato. The chicken was so juicy! They’re famous for their smashed beef burgers, and with the mushroom and chicken were already incredible, I have no doubt that their best seller is top notch. No wonder they were super packed with loyal happy customers!
The onion rings were crispy and the chicken HSP was a little dry but so loaded- and overall so good! I have weak tolerance and I gotta admit.. the spicy Mayo was SO HOT 🔥The milkshakes paired really well with our feast
Great vibes, friendly customer service, good food at very reasonable prices,...
Read moreThis might be one of the only reviews I have ever written. Cannot recommend Central Burgs highly enough. Have eaten in twice and picked up take away now once, all in the span of a week.
The quality of food on the menu is exceptional. They do chips, burgers, fried chicken all to stand out quality. All of these are on par with the best melbourne has to offer. Certainly the best in the area. I will mention as well the style of burger they do is a smash which gives great texture and flavour, certainly worth checking out if you havent tried these before.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The venue is relaxed and comfortable. Definitely check out the court yard out back! We brought our dog and sat out there where its cool and quiet.
Prices represent great value.
This is definitely not just another generic melbourne burger joint that has opened up following the trend of the last decade with a brioche bun, a stupid number of fillings swimming in enough sauce to sink a battleship. These guys are the real deal with relatively simplistic but high quality fundamentals. I look forward to enjoying their fare for many...
Read moreReally good burgers, the chicken was crispy and juicy, not dry and wasn’t too oily at all. I really liked the brioche bun which wasn’t soggy and nice hint of sweetness. The biscoff shake I had was a bit too milky and had a slight hint of biscoff, however I would have preferred more biscoff flavour as it wasn’t very strong. I also had the onion rings which were very crispy and nice. However I wouldn’t get the snack pack again as the sauce made the fried chicken very soggy and I prefer crispy chicken. However it was still fresh, I just didn’t really enjoy the tater tots at the bottom as they weren’t crispy enough. Overall I enjoyed the meal and at $16 for a burger and $7 for a side and $7 for a shake I think it is decently priced for what you pay for. They had a nice ambience for the neon lights in store and the workers were pretty friendly. Tucked in a street location, pretty easy to spot and plenty of parking out front. I would go again if I was closer to the location and craving a fat juicy burger, but because I live very far I probably wouldn’t...
