Great home style korean food that ranks near the top and worthy of a visit, however didnt take the crown jewel for any of the dishes we tried. We had the tteokbokki, a kimchi pancake, and a few gimbap. The tteokbokki, while nice, was a little more watery than we usually have and prefer, it also lacked a bit of spice (6/10) where we prefer it around the 8/10. The rice cakes were awesome and likely locally made, cooked well and not overcooked, which is a non-negotiable. On the kimchi pancake, the flavour was good but it lacked the crunch and light char/ smokiness that we prefer on a pancake. Also, it didn't have the "sour" bite that I like to get from a nice spicy, well fermented kimchi based pancake. The gimbap was large and delicious, but a little light on seasoning. Seemed to be missing some sesame oil and very little pickle inside, which makes gimbap such a dynamic food. We will visit here again and continue trying dishes as there is plenty to taste and also have as takeaway. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and...

I came here a few months ago to get a quick takeaway meal, found the restaurant to be affordable and received great and fast service, was eager to come again. Finally had time to sit down for a meal with my partner. Service feels very homely and genuinely friendly. The owner and staff were all very polite and served us with great smiles! The food was great, as I remembered it from the first time I went, the menu was simple with a decent selection of what I assume to be authentic Korean food. Cooked perfectly and flavoured just right.
