soft tofu ( 순두부찌개) jjiggae was like water, not like a jiggae at all and barely had pork meat in it. fried chicken was good but side dishes were not so good. surcharge was a bit ridiculous, and their free delivery within 5km between 6-9pm is cash payment only and a surcharge still applies to the total amount charged. When we went in to pick up the order, the restaurant itself was quite small and vibe was a bit awkward. Staff was friendly. overall, 2/5 stars.
Response to owner: Thank you for your response. We chose your restaurant because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience didn’t feel up to that standard. I understand that takeaway and dine-in can differ, but the jjigae being very watery is not something that would change depending on whether it was delivery vs pick up. For that reason, my review was not influenced by having to collect the order — it was an objective review of the food, surcharge policies, and overall atmosphere, not shaped by the personal feelings you assumed.
I’d also like to clarify that while you mentioned bank transfer as an option, this was not actually offered to us and that only cash payment was available, otherwise we would have chosen delivery as we initially wanted. This review was written simply to share our experience for the benefit of other customers, not to seek compensation, which is why we did not call you directly.
I understand your perspective, but your response suggests my comments were mainly about dissatisfaction with payment or pickup. My review was focused on the food and the overall experience, which also included the surcharge policies, the atmosphere when we came in to collect the order, and now your response. I respect the effort involved in running a business, but I believe reviews should fairly reflect both the positives and the negatives of a...

Called to make reservation, and a man who confirmed our reservation is friendly. Though not quite fluent in English, a little repetition doesn’t hurt.
Food: Ordered the pork belly kimchi pancake and honey soy chicken. I’m not quite the fan of the pork belly in pancake as it can get a little tough. I do wish they have a seafood kimchi option but their menu was either seafood spring onion or pork belly kimchi/ calamari kimchi.
Me and my partner both love the fried chicken! It’s fried so well - crispy with a crunch on the sides while tender and soft on the inside. So so good. Perhaps an individual preference, it was a tad too salty for me but just right for my partner.
Service: Friendly and smiley server. The restaurant doesn’t serve sides for the fried chicken other than a bowl of picked radish. However, when I requested, she kindly gave us a portion. I didn’t ask for any refills though since it was given out of kind gesture.
Price point is on the higher side, considering the quantity of ingredients.
Overall, a solid 4/5. Will...
Read moreOne word - AMAZING! As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with the white walls and ceiling, and this gave me Korean vibes. The place was near and nicely decorated. The owner was friendly and recommended us some of the dishes. We ordered half half fried chicken (soya and spicy), their signature jokbal, and spicy chicken with cheese. Food came promptly, and we were amazed with the taste, freshness, and generous portion of each dish. The fried chicken was crunchy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside - one of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Jokbal was tender and very well marinated. This dish was served with a salad (tasty dressing) and a plate of cold spicy noodles. The cheesy spicy chicken was so nice that we had to have each extra bowl of rice. Parking would be difficult on the main street when busy. We are already planning our next visit back to this...
