Paradiso Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Melbourne

We just came back from a date night at this place and everything was so fabulous I feel compelled to leave a review. We picked that place because of the close distance to our house and just walked down the street. Beer garden definitely played an important role in this decision. We ordered an antipasto platter and an assorted seafood pasta with a few drinks. The food was fantastic, there wasn’t a crumb left on the plates. Spagetti was cooked to perfection, not too mushy or too aldante. If there was anything that was better than the food we had, it was the service. Staff just looked like they would rather be nowhere else! They were super kind but not the type of forced kindness you can easily tell in hospitality, it felt very genuine and made us feel comfortable. They were joking and giving us a good laugh a few times throughout that 1-1/5 hrs we spent there. Coffee was amazing too! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have a lovely night out. You cannot find the kind of soul that is created by the staff in this venue in...

Overall our visit was good. We ordered the garlic and olive oil pizza focaccia and inquired about the size. We were told it wasn't that big about the size of a normal focaccia. However when it came out it was HUGE and it was burnt in the middle to the point where we couldn't eat it. It was also really difficult to cut and didn't seem to have been sliced well before sending out. The taste was just average. We also asked this to come out first before our next course.

We hadn't even finished a couple slices of the focaccia before our Fusilli and braised lamb spezzatino next course was here. Not sure what's the point of asking if we want it all at once or in courses if it's only going to come out almost all at once.

The pasta dish was very tasty but we felt very rushed and then had to sit and finish our wine instead of enjoying it with out meal.

Overall ok, but be clear when you want the courses...

great venue for a pre or after movie drink and great range of food also (vegan options which make it easier for me ) very well done mannhattan coaktail(miss taylors fave drink ) but more or less a seriously incredible manger (rajah I don't know if that's how its spelt but the young male whom is half dutch half Indonesian Is amazing and so switched on and really cares for his costumers I think this man is a true gun at his job and a top notch human and hope he reads this email as I personally think he makes the place work and makes the service and food more then you bargained for ) I think very highly of the arrangement of food and drink on offer at this venue and the way it is run very warm frirendy staff and great place to wind down after a long day at work or a quick catch up with a firend very welcoming and open and will be returning shortly regards Elizabeth taylor...
