Crust Pizza Mitcham — Restaurant in Melbourne

I received a sub standard pizza. It arrived via delivery, cold. Their large pizza is more like a small pizza. A large pizza usually lasted me two meals. I spent more to get an additional topping which was not put on. The existing topping was minimal or non existent. I’m a 50 year old woman who spent money on a pizza that I did not eat after the second bite. I have never reviewed a pizza or any food for that matter. When I called the store the manager hung up on me, saying they were too busy and that was the way they make their pizzas. I asked for either a refund or a new pizza. This pizza was the worst pizza I have ever ordered. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. ADDITION NOTE BASED ON RESPONSE FROM PIZZA RESTAURANT: I have read your response to me as well as those of other review responses. You seem to pass the responsibility of your service onto UBER instead of taking responsibility. If you pride yourself on quality service, your manager on Saturday night would not have hung up on me. I have since been given a refund from UBER, however my concern was the quality of the food I received not on the UBER driver. You are the restaurants providing the product. I’ve never received such a poorly made pizza, regardless of if it arrived cold or not. Don’t blame the driver, take responsibility and learn from the feedback...

I arrived at this business at around 12pm on 16/11/2018. I was then advised by one of your staff members that there would be a half hour wait for my pizza to which I said no problem paid and left. I then returned at approximately 12:45pm. I headed to the front counter and was informed by the same staff member that it had gotten a bit busy and my pizza would now take another 10 mins. I then went back to my car and sat there for about 15mins and headed back in at 1pm. It was at that time the same staff member (I believe it was an Indian woman who was the manager there) told me she was only just about to start making my pizza. At this point I was quite frustrated and very hungry, I then asked for my money back, please remember at this point she had not even made my pizza. She then informed me she would have to speak to the owner in regards to a refund and I still have not heard anything back about the matter. I am an Asian gentleman and the multiple people in front of whom I did see receive their pizza's were all white. I'm not sure if this was a racist incident or just incompetence however, I wanted to make others aware of the "service" you provide. If the matter of my refund is not rectified in a timely manner I will take this matter further...

Ordered online, no issues at all. Arrive and all the staff just looked at me then continued to drink their cola and play on their phones. Grabbed my meals, but no cutlery or napkins, I asked but was told sorry. Arrived to eat the food and though well it smells good enough, despite me have to use my fingers as chopped sticks... Pizza 3/10 Pasta 1/10 Worst carbonara I've ever had, it had way to much garlic, it was as if they had just crushed the garlic and stired it in as an after thought, it was disgusting. The cheese on both the pizza & pasta looked like it had been sprinkled on and then microwaved to get it to melt. One of the a few places open here in Mitcham later at night, and you pay the price for that. I'd rather not eat then come here...
