Read moreThis park is an amazing place for all sort of family activities. It ticks all the boxes ..... the playground area is the best part of the park. The range of playing equipments is fantastic, and kids with different age groups and abilities can enjoy it ! Basketball court, flying fox, trampoline, musical bridge ( it's what I have named it 😀), sand and water play area, and other normal range of playground equipment. The BBQ facilities are fantastic and it is undercover which is a bonus for summer or rainy day. Few tables have printed chess board and backgammon on them so if you have the playing pieces you can play. The other side of the park has a nice establishment of memorial soldiers , and a nice garden of beautiful range of local plants 🌳🪴🌱🌴🌾and a beautiful rose 🌹 garden . This park has a magnificent color in autumn 🍂 with colourful autumn leaves!

Read moreWe have been coming to Halliday Park for 15 years, before and after the renovation. As well as the playground which is great, there are large open spaces for playing a variety of games and sports. Also there are BBQs surrounded by large trees that afford excellent shade. It is a great family friendly space. The toilets are clean and accessible since the upgrade. In warm weather it is very popular so if you are planning an activity get there early or be prepared to share the space. The one small problem is the access off Mitcham Rd. It is a narrow driveway and can be awkward when cars at the bowls club are parked on this driveway. Just need to be patient. All in all a great space in Mitcham for...
