Food was delicious. Had the smashed avocado and I really enjoyed it. But thats where to positives end. Have had the coffee here a few times and its terrible. Burnt and extremely unpleasant to drink. Honestly tastes like an ash tray There was a waitress working this morning with one of the worst attitudes I've ever seen. I normally go out of my way to give people the benefit of the doubt when this happens because you never know what somebody is going through, but this girl was next level. (young blonde girl in shorts) She was rude from the second we walked in to the second we walked out. And not just to us, I observed her and she was rude to everybody she came in contact with. Even just shoving/dropping menu's on top of peoples hands rested on the table and their phones, wallet etc instead of politely passing it to them (we weren't even lucky enough to have this happen as she didn't bother giving us a menu at all. She just grunted and walked off)

I ordered a small chocolate shake for my daughter and it didn't come out until we were getting up to leave and we'd already finished our meals and waited an extra 10-15 minutes before leaving. My main issue though, plastic straw... We were not even given the choice of a plastic straw or not. Eating in I assumed it would come in a nice glass mug or steel cup but it came in a plastic cup with a plastic lid. Every drink I saw around the cafe (other than coffee) came with a plastic straw poking out of it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not do this as people have a right NOT to use plastic straws Please educate yourself on the environmental impact and only offer straws to those who specifically request one Major companies such as Grill'd, Starbucks and Disney resorts have implemented a plastic straw ban and even McDonald's have committed to have their plastic straws gone by 2020, globally I suggest you do the same

Very disappointing to...

Horrible customer service! It was like we were invisible to the staffs there. We were there on Tuesday, 29th Dec around 12.30 pm. Waited in line for around 15 mins to get seated (which we were okay). As there were empty tables outside, we asked one of the staffs if we could sit on one of those tables and got seated on table no. 54. We could see wait staffs floating around, chatting with other customers but completely ignoring us. We went indoors to confirm if we had to order at the counter but they confirmed that someone would come and wait on us. We waited for over 30 mins for someone to wait on us. We could see people who came after us get waited and served. We called one of the waiters there ( the one with green/blue hair), told us how we were waiting for over 25 mins. She apologised and told us that she would get us the menus and water. It took her another 15 minutes to get us the menus and water. Again, once we got the menus and were ready to order, there was noo one to take our order. It was an endless wait! We literally had to waive our menus and call thethe waitress passing by (she was the one who assigned us the table in the first place and didn't even bother checking in on us) and told her how long we've waited. She hesitantly took our orders. The wait for the food was a different story. It was 1.45 by the time we got our food, our drinks were still not in sight(ordered 2x fresh juice and 1 iced coffee). By 2.10 we were done with our food but our drinks weren't ready yet. So we went to the counter, asked them for the drinks to go, paid and left. Honestly, one of the worst experiences ever. Never going...

Very poor service today. While trying to order, the waitress walked off while my partner was mid-sentence, and summoned a different waitress to finish taking the order without saying anything to us? For example, an explanation for bailing?

When paying, we were charged an additional $4.50 for salmon on my partners Benny. I questioned this charge, because the menu clearly states that the fish is served WITH your choice of ham, bacon or spinach. Underneath on another line it says “add salmon or pulled pork for $1”

So, I asked why the charge of $4.50? Surely we should be charged $19.90 for the Benny with spinach, plus $1 for the salmon extra = $21.90, right?

The waitress gave me a very long winded explanation about the menu being written unclearly and confusingly and that because we got an extra we had to pay from the brunch extras section. This is no concern of mine if the menu is written in away that you did not mean for it to come across as - as a customer, if you read “salmon $1” you expect to pay $1 for salmon.

It took another 10 mins of arguing to get a refund out of these people. I can take or leave $350, it is chump change. I’m not poor. But don’t try to steal from me, and don’t try to make a fool out customers that are paying good money for food. It is very disrespectful.

Also, learn cost versus benefit. The price of that public argument versus just refunding the money and saying yes that’s our fault ….poor judgement. I will NEVER return and I will make sure to tell others that this cafe is ripping people off at the counter. Make sure you watch how your bill is calculated on...

I have never had such rude treatment after sending back food that somehow had a fishy smell but there was no fish on the plate. I was polite as well even my partner commented that I was polite (rare in this type of instance). Then the waiter (manager?) returned to inform me that neither he nor the chef could smell any fish and had the gall to ask if me if I had ever had balsamic glaze, as though that has a fishy smell or taste. He asked if I would like anything else I said no thank you and he walked away shaking his head. I thought that's rude, but no it was just about to get ruder. After he walked up to our table (we were sitting right next to the entry to the back of house) and he walked to go out the back he then hit the wall with his hand right next to our table after glancing at me. I have never experienced such aggressive and childish behaviour like this anywhere in the world. I travel everywhere to eat and this was next level rudeness. Here's a tip, if a customer isn't happy with something, cop it, apologise and see what can be done to rectify the situation and then cut your loss and move on.

Greeted if you can call it a greeting at the door by a grumpy, unhappy, miserable girl, she just looked at us, I asked for a table of 3 and she pointed to a dirty table which I cleaned with one of the 2 napkins supplied in the cutlery holder on the table. Placed our order, mushroom breakfast, chicken souvlaki and breakfast burger with coffee, I noticed everyone has to call to be served. Meals came and looked great, no salt and pepper on the tables unfortunately, the meals were great couldn’t complain about the food at all and the kitchen looked busy and clean, service let this place down and so did the staff, I wouldn’t go back just because of the service and unfriendly staff NEVER DID GET OUR COFFEE🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

A very popular cafe so be prepared! Went at lunch time and it was packed indoors and out. There is a lot of seating, it’s quite a big cafe when you consider the outdoors area. I really liked the decor - the big gold mirror and irregular chairs. I wouldn’t say it’s a quiet atmosphere though, not during the busy lunch period. Staff were still attentive and friendly though. The menu is large however does not state smaller, cheaper breakfast options (you can get toasties from the fridge). So it’s a bit pricy if you want a proper breakfast ($20 average). The chicken mayo panini that I had was really nice, along with the loose leaf chai latte.
