We had ordered cupcakes for an organisational event. Before we placed the order we called the store and took a confirmation about the delivery. When we called the staff picked up and cross checked with her manager and gave us a double confirmation saying that it will be delivered at any cost. We were very specific with our order as we wanted vegan cupcakes and we have seen a good rating for this store and decided to go with them with lots of hopes. They sent an email confirmation for the payment received and also a confirmation about the delivery. We called them for more than 20+times to check about the delivery timing and they gave a time window. No calls were answered. We sent emails and there was no response. My whole day was disrupted with this unnecessary stress of somehow getting this delivered. It was 6.00 pm that we were heading to the event and still the cupcakes were not delivered. We reached late to the event because we had to do a last minute run to search for an alternative cake. All that extra travel and stress ruined my whole day and couldn’t enjoy the event. It is so disheartening and heartbreaking that such a reputed store has no sense of responsibility to at the least inform that they are not able to deliver. Then I get an email next day noon saying you can ask for refund or it will be delivered now?? Seriously what do I need the cakes for on the next day. However, I placed an order today for a set of cupcakes with a “Get Well Soon” note and gift wrap for a child, and unfortunately, the delivery experience was very disappointing. The cupcakes arrived upside down, and the cream was out of place, which was a big letdown.
