If you love a Banh Mi, get down to this little place. 😊 It’s absolutely perfect and for a great price. So, lets break it down… Atmosphere: *** The outside very typical of a café, bakery. When we visited during the day, the inside seemed very gloomy, like half of the store was closed – the installation of a few sun-lights would really brighten this place up towards the back of shop. Place could probably do with some brighter colours to make it feel a bit more inviting. They do have a few outdoor tables to enjoy the sun, which is great! Customer Service: ***** Nice family run business and was welcomed with a smile. Order was taken, preparation was quick and served promptly. Was thanked for my custom and ask to have a good day. Excellent! Food (Why we are here): ***** Banh Mi - $9 (+1.75% CC charge) - $9.16 (Pork belly with crackling Vietnamese roll) Delicious! Absolutely Perfect Banh Mi! The roll was crispy and fresh, so was the salad and fresh chili. The pork was cook perfectly and the added crackling just added to the amazing flavour; great patte too. Overall:**** While the place does feel a little tired and gloomy during the day, the Banh Mi was absolutely delicious and definitely recommend for anyone looking for the freshest spicy roast pork Banh Mi in the area. Thank you, Dai Lo’i Bakery – I will definitely be back for another tasty roll.

I've had banh mi from many suburbs and being a Vietnamese and Chinese person myself who has grown up eating this. I must say this is one of the best banh mi in Melbourne which I have tried. I am so glad it is so close to my home so I can have it often. The vietnamese coffee is truly authentic as well. I must add that this is a lovely family run business that is so welcoming and friendly to...

Good Vietnamese rolls, with fresh ingredients and a unique but familiar flavour. Some of the pastries are average but not bad. The prices are good. Good range, with loafs of fresh bread and rolls, pies, cakes, drinks, coffee etc. It is family operated and has a family feel to it. Basic eat in facilities. It would be nice to have some improvements in shop fittings, but its a work...
