Chilli Lounge Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

Discovered this restaurant while returning back from the ski fields on Sat night around 9. Didn't find the food good enough or even comparable with average Indian restaurants around Melbourne. I would rate 1/5 for quantity, 1/5 for pricing, 2/5 for taste and 3/5 for service. When you average curry price is in twenties, atleast serve average portions. I was tempted to ask that we didn't order half sized dishes. Vegetables weren't well cooked, capsicum was almost raw. Paneer wasn't fresh either, cut into cubes probably market bought. Should have driven until Berwick instead of Pakenham. Very disappointed. Happy to respond back if the owners have any concerns regarding my review.

Responding to owners comment: 3 kids didn't have any food from your restaurant. 2 adults had Indo Chinese. 4 adults and 1 kid had 3 curries and decided not to order more coz of the taste and quantity. You can check my other reviews and my profile statistics, I only provide genuine feedback. Hope you take this as an opportunity to improve. It was certainly very disappointing experience...

I can’t express enough how much I appreciate this gesture. It truly made the experience special and allowed me to enjoy a meal out with my family without any worries.
