Delicious House — Restaurant in Melbourne

New customer reading reviews last night all seemed above board. I order 3 dishes. Special Fried Rice Mongolian Beef and Red Chicken. I called this afternoon early to clarify what tge red meal was on their reviews and they told me it was chicken and was very good. So on the basis of that I ordered all 3 meals n went to pick up just ten mins later. I arrived told him I was first time customer n I was having it for dinner. This being 2pm he said let it cool down refrigerate n heat up later. All this you normally do with almost any takeaway. I've just finished speaking with them and said that I was still bringing up the rice absolutely loaded with msg and salt he said. The Mongolian beef was rubbery not even my dog would go near it n this red special chicken well im here to say I can't describe tge smell politely it absolutely stank. I have admittance in writing that yes they use msg plus salt and no that it was because it wasn't made this afternoon!!!!! What when the hell was it made then??? Not even a sorry no refund nothing. I will share publicly the written dialogue I've had tonight over messe ger to warn the public. I'm also going to Food Safety Standerds Vic. How revolting . Do they write up their own reviews??? I have the food with me that I am getting tested. Not large serves at all and 50 dollars not cheap for poisonous n gut wrenching msg n salt ....

Had lunch at Delicious House and from the time we walked in we were welcomed and made comfortable. The Dinning Room is spaces and decorated nicely. But the main thing that everyone wants to know about is the food. We had Entree's of Sesame Toast, Prawn Crackers and Vegetarian Spring Rolls. Mains we had Beef and Vegetables with Cashews, Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and a Large Fried Rice. We also had two soft drinks. The food came in quick succession and was perfectly cooked. The taste was amazing and there wasn't much talking to be done while the food was hot. I will be returning here with friends and family that want an option for a really good Chinese Restaurant.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was unprofessional, and communication was a major challenge as the staff struggled to understand orders properly, leading to multiple mistakes. I had to repeat myself several times to ensure accuracy.

The food was extremely underwhelming—some dishes were undercooked, had an unpleasant smell, and lacked flavor. The drinks were also poorly made. Additionally, the overall atmosphere was not welcoming, and the staff’s attitude left much to be desired.
