UPDATE: We came back again to Docasa after noticing a new menu! Appears the original owners have sold the business to a new group and unfortunately it seems the food and qualities which made Docasa so special are no longer there.

The matcha was pre made and squirted from a bottle, the Turkish eggs were a bit flavourless to be honest and the bread Tasted low quality and similar to the $2 loaf from the supermarket. The Docasa's special mushroom and hash was also so plain. Feels like all the ingredients are made elsewhere in bulk. The food was presented nice at least.

Gone is the amazing menu with so many options ranging from breakfast to lunch even to afternoon tea and now replaced with your typical standard menu only (with the flavour being below average compared to your typical cafe).

Docasa has gone from an absolute gem with so many special and unique offerings on a rotating basis, to now being no different to any other cafe in Melbourne.

Sad to say we will need to find another local weekend cafe spot!
