As someone who truly loves Banh Mi, we have made it our mission to try it everywhere we go! And honestly, nothing compares to the one from our local, Epping Hot Bread. It is not just a sandwich. It is an experience.

She actually puts it in the oven three separate times to get it just right. First, the bread with the vegetables goes in. Then, once it is out, she adds the meat and puts it back in. Finally, on the third time, she adds the rest of the ingredients, wraps it all up, and puts it in the oven one last time. What you end up with is bread that is crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Absolute perfection.

And the pork belly? It is honestly the best. I am Filipino and grew up eating really good crispy pork belly, so when I say it is top tier, I truly mean it.
