August 2025 Family came in, as usual, Chef's where not Greeks they are Indians, Communication between Greek Staff & Indian staff Very bad communication, because they can't, our order was wrong, Didn't want 1 thing due to we get allergic reaction & was in it, lucky we saw it, then we received another replacement, missing ingredients, within 1 minute was ready? I ate the wrong Meal because I was waiting for the correct 1 for my parents to be made, 1 minute, mine was in Car, while family was waiting in Car, for there proposed meal with all ingredients as requested. Sorry us Greeks will not return. Food was very soggy. Recooked twice. Didn't lession to instructions that we can't have certain ingredients in it, due to allergies We witnessed it. Still chicken was raw.

2025 Early ☆☆☆☆☆ Very nice customer service ☆☆☆☆☆ Very nice waitress' & staff ☆☆☆☆☆ Had been there 2 times with Group, 1 time with Father, 1 time with Mother for Mother's day, 2 times delivery too ☆☆☆☆☆ highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆ they even do ASAP, 5 seconds reservation from around the courner to eat in. Lol. ☆☆☆☆☆ again Very nice music ☆☆☆☆☆ Very nice Greek juice

• Very nice music wasn't Loud enough but food was nice anyway, Staff didn't look Greek.

• Went here for Father's Day, was moved to the high chair & Table, 2nd Table had a pram so blocked us, mind you both my Father's foot was run over by a Bus, so already issues, chair & table too high for him, so he had to get up & down constantly, so he can pay too

• We purchased the $99 Platter,+

1 skewers platter were ok Other platter was totally charcoal burnt overcooked, it was like eating a charcoal. Constantly matured lady disturbing us, constantly about how the food was, we were busy talking & Eating among ourselves

Absolutely RUBBISH. We dined in. My partner got a small plate of mixed. The portion was not even small it was MINIATURE. There was literally 8 pieces of meat, 8 pieces of BURNT chips and a massive bowl of salad and 10 pieces of pita bread. SO DISAPPOINTING. I got a pork gyro that was so hard and flavourless it had to be the most flavourless gyro I’ve ever had in my life. We literally had to go to the hungry jacks next door to eat AGAIN. What a waste of money. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU EXPECT GOOD QUALITY AND GOOD PORTION GREEK FOOD. Rubbish!!!!!!! Will never come here again! Would give ZERO STARS if it were an option.

Replying to owner comment: We actually came in happy and excited to have authentic Greek food as that is my background. My partner being on his phone has absolutely nothing to do with us not enjoying our meals. We were NOT asked if we enjoyed our food, our drink was forgotten about to the point where I had to get up AFTER my meal to ask for it. If you’re pinpointing everything your customer done on the night, you are just finding an excuse to why they didn’t enjoy their experience. I have never been unsatisfied with food ever in my life to the point where I had to write a review. And I actually have never been this disappointed in an owner’s reply. A sincere apology would’ve been nice instead of assuming we walked in unhappy to begin with. Now we are defiantly not coming...

We had such high hopes for a family lunch, but our experience at Maharaja Epping was beyond disappointing. After booking a table in advance, we waited an excruciating 35 minutes just for the starters. As soon as those finally arrived, we ordered our main dishes and asked for some wedges for the kids. From then on, it was a frustrating cycle of "2 more minutes" from the staff, which dragged on for an hour and a half. The kids, who were hungry and restless, were left waiting for something as simple as wedges that never arrived. Every time we asked, we got the same empty promise, with no manager around to speak to or any real follow-up. After 90 minutes of this, with the entire mood ruined and the kids in tears, we gave up. To top it all off, we were still charged for food we couldn’t even finish because of the endless waiting. And as for the starters we did eat—over-fried and way too salty. No apology, no accountability, just an experience that left us feeling like we didn’t matter...
