Recently went here as a group for Friday dinner. We'd gone with a table reservation, but to our surprise, noticed than most of them (except 1-2 tables) were empty and didn't need servicing. I'm quite puzzled why table reservation is recommended on Google, because the restaurant was quiet the whole time we were there.
The food was very, very good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Both veg and non-veg food was rich in taste, had the right amount of spices and flavours and it was a delight in every bite. We had the butter naan and the garlic naan, some veg gravy sides, the veg platter (entree) and non-veg gravies and starters.
The servicing was......slow! You'd think that the kitchen would be able to feed you quickly with such less footfall, but no! Each of our orders took 10-15 mins to arrive. It was so slow that we refrained from ordering desserts, because we didn't want to sit there waiting for a long time until our dessert orders to arrive.
The person serving our table was brilliant, always keeping us updated on how long our orders would take to arrive, quickly cleaning up the table when we were done and bringing more water as our bottle emptied without being told.
I'd love to go back again for the quality of food, but the wait time sure needs to...
Read moreThis evening we dined at this wonderful little restaurant in Epping, Victoria. We re Forced a nice welcome by our hostess and immediately shown to our table [ that we had booked in advance] which was all laid out perfectly. A jug of iced water was served to us immediately along with a plate of Papadums and a Raita dip, which was very nice to see. As there were three of us dining, we decided to order and share a range of dishes from their expansive menu. We ordered entrees of Samosa’s and Tikki Chat, both of which were delightfully tasty indeed. For mains, we chose to share, Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Chicken Biryani, and Garlic Naan. We ordered the food to be’ medium’ in terms of spice, and we have to say that all of the dishes were ‘spot on’ in every manner. All menu items were reasonably priced and the quality was excellent. The decor and seating was really nice, and having the choice to ‘BYO’ alcohol was great also. Overall I give this great little ‘Indian Food’ restaurant, 4.5 out of 5 stars. We will definitely be revisiting again in three weeks time. ...
Read moreAfter reading the recent reviews of this place, Coming from a foodie from Europe, I can say that they are not fake, the quality of the food is really shocking and it raises concerns that these 5 star reviews are from the owner holding the customers hostage.
I ordered the butter chicken and it was still pink inside (meaning its still raw and uncooked.) I visited this place early on in 2024 for the first time and the experience was mediocre. Earlier this year (2025) i decided to give this place another shot, seeing the spike in positive reviews of this place but nothing has changed, it is evident to me that these reviews are only fake. i can only say that the customer service is pretty impressive, the waiters must be on big wages. 😂😂
When i tried the samosa chaat it was cold on the inside which ruined the vibe.
The retaliation of the individual managing the media of this business is not professional, that is not how you...
