An awesome place for breakfast – wonderful food, great service and also pet friendly (sitting outside). We booked an outside table and met our friends. Great coffee and milkshakes. And the food – smashed avocado (with dukkah, poached eggs, feta, corn, coriander, paprika on toasts; big brekkie (choices of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushroom, spinach, cherry tomato and toast); chicken burrito bowl (char chicken, aioli sauce, salad mix, brown rice, brown bean, corn, avocado, tomato, roasted capsicum, coriander, paprika and sour cream) and vegetarian pho (rice noodle, tofu, mushroom, carrot, green bean, corn, basil and chili) – everyone loved their meal – so tasty and delicious. Loved the relaxed vibe and warm service (and plentiful water).

A regular suggested the breakfast burrito and as I'd had a recent positive experience with a Mexican restaurant in Christchurch New Zealand at 3am due to a flight being rerouted. I thought why not. Same regular also stayed coffee was best in the area, I a professed chai drinker, threw caution to the wind, with a small cappuccino. Two baristas, one cook and 1 waitress who also works the register means that the emphasis is on food and coffee service. Thus, waiting is expected. The burrito was a dry hard shell that looked interesting but wasn't inviting to eat. Basically, it was a chicken salad in a shell, tasty but for $20, I wasn't blown away. The coffee had a decent taste, albeit weak and tepid but, decent.

My iced chocolate was way too chocolatey that I couldn’t drink it, and I’m usually quite a sweet tooth. My pancakes were okay, 6/10, but cutely presented, and service was good. My friend also ordered a juice which was teeny tiny when it came like a kids size, if you’re going to serve that you should have the size on the menu or something.

Second time review as I really wanted to give this place another ago after having a bad experience in the past but living locally and finding the food not too bad. Last time they were slow with my order (almost 40 mins late), this time they completely forgot my order! After waiting for an hour and my friend already receiving and FINISHING their food before I received mine, I finally asked the waiter where my order was and the lady said she had forgotten to put it through and finally put the order through after an hour of waiting. Lady seemed kind enough and apologised (didn’t offer a refund however, just a couple $$ off - and the waitresses continually walked past you as you made eye contact for service). I won’t be coming back again that’s for sure. Restaurant keeps disappointing each time! Frank and Gingers next door has much better service &...
