Worst experience. The old man accused me of not paying, even though I had ordered and paid $30 for two dry bits of boiled off chicken and a few chips. He wouldn’t release the bag of food when I went to receive it from his hands, and left me standing there saying ah yeah, I paid by card $30 bucks. Reason I knew is they don’t tell you how much things cost, and the prices are different than their board. Food is also sloppy and confusing.

Make matters worse, set it down in my front seat and it spilled everywhere! They seem to cater to a particular clientele too, don’t bother going if you’re not in their community....

I don’t think chicken thighs are their specialty here. Mine was extremely dry, and when I was offered gravy, I agreed, expecting something to help salvage the dish. Instead, what I got was a small pour of oil that they referred to as “gravy.” Not only did it do nothing to improve the flavour or texture, but it also made the dish feel heavier and greasier. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone mindful of their cholesterol or looking for a healthier meal option. Was surprised about the negative reviews here. As I read on I realize many from the previous operators. Anyways the food is great here. It is fresh as well. I have tried the baguette which I think is the best value for money. Also had the chicken Maryland with different side dishes and I could not find anything that I don’t like. Even the height of the cabbage/lettuce shortage this place still served it with no extra charge. Well done on the new operators and good luck for them with the business.
