Ferguson Plarre's Bakehouse - Highett — Restaurant in Melbourne

Tried the vegan unicorn cake, and very disappointed. It was very dry, almost inedible. We had 1 small slice each, didn't finish them, and threw out the remainder of the 65 dollar cake in the bin. This was on the day of purchase, the same day it was deemed ready for collection but honestly, I would guess it was 3 days old. I asked the girl why it wasn't in a fridge on pick up and was told it didn't need to be, most other bakeries have kept their vegan cakes in a fudge, I'm not an expert but this could be the reason. I just want to highly recommend & commend FP Highett & all their staff, especially Pauline, who went above & beyond for me when it came to a cake & platters for my daughter’s 3rd birthday.

It was so refreshing to have staff who are invested in their customers & their creations, not to mention the shop itself is extremely clean & impressive. The cakes & platters were absolutely delicious & priced affordably.
