I donāt often go to Ferguson plarre as itās pretty bland in my opinion, but if Iām desperate Iāll get my toddler a little oggie.
This morning my family and I stood awaiting to be served, you couldnāt miss us, we took up most of the counter space however the elder cranky lady refused to serve us, it was taking time, we were been patient but we had other errands to run so I left my husband to wait, after ten minutes he returned, with no oggie. Is asked why no oggie, heād said when he asked why the worker was serving everyone but him sheād asked him to Leave. So I went back and ordered the oggie, she was clearly in a bad mood and hates her job but she was implying she had already had such a bad day and it was only 930, poor darl must live a sad life.
Anyway once she realised it was I who wanted the oggie and wife of the man she turned away, well boy did she crack it.
Is asked her why she refused to serve us and why she kept us waiting so long in which she could not answer.
If asked to speak to the manager, in which I got the daughter of the family that owns it who said well, if you wanted to be served you should have asked.
UM NO thatās what you pay your staff to do, I am a paying customer coming to contribute to your business for a product which includes customer service.
Honestly I couldnāt care less for this Business to be honest, but I think itās important for the family who runs this to know that your daughter has absolutely no management skills, nor business or well communications for that matter. She will disrupt and destroy your businessā reputation. She clearly has no respect for your family operated business as she is happy to diminish it. As for your employee o would be mortified if my staff treated patrons the way she did, then to be backed up by a `managerā who clearly should just continue to do barista duties and not customer relations as no feel itās not a two way street like you said. Your staff need to be asking can I help you and serve in the line formed not freelancing.
Honestly, had I been rude myself I could warrant the treatment, but I was just like every other Tom dick and Harry in the shop yet the only difference is we werenāt getting served. I put it down to laziness, employee was already disgruntled when we arrived, she couldnāt be bothered serving a big crowd, then made a fuss about it when questioned.
Rude, rotten and very unpleasant. Goodluck with the business youāll need it when you have people like that representing it. I certainly wonāt be back and Iām not sad about it after today, but Iāll be sure to be advocating to friends and family and centre staff of which we run...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn a world where compassion often feels in short supply, there are those who shine a light of kindness, even in the simplest of acts. For a couple of weeks, Ferguson Plarre, in the Rosebud Plaza, stood as a beacon of generosity for the homeless, handing out leftover goods. Each evening, Lois a 70 year old woman, faithfully made her way to the shop at 5 pm, not just to salvage the discarded treats, but to connect with a community of individuals often overlooked. For many, this nightly ritual became a lifeline, a small but significant gesture of warmth and sustenance. Yet, abruptly, Ferguson Plarre, Rosebud Plaza, once beacons of compassion, now turned their backs on the homeless, denying them access to the leftover goods, callously declaring their indifference to their plight and quote āwe donāt care about the homelessā In the face of such heartlessness, Lois stood perplexed, grappling with the stark reality of how swiftly kindness could falter. One evening, as the clock struck closing time, a homeless man, weathered by the hardships of life, approached the bakery with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. His stomach grumbled with hunger, a constant reminder of his plight in a world indifferent to his struggles. Desperate for food to ease the emptiness within, he humbly asked the proprietor for a bag of leftovers that he was handing out to passerbyers. The proprietor asked if the man was from the nearby homeless shelter. The man, confirmed his place at the shelter, his words a plea for understanding and empathy. But to his dismay, the response he received was not one of kindness or generosity, but of cold rejection. The proprietor, with a dismissive wave of his hand, informed him that the leftovers were reserved solely for other passersby, denying him the basic human dignity of a meal to stave off hunger's cruel grip. In disbelief, the man questioned the basis of his exclusion. Was it because of his circumstances, his poor attire, or his lack of monetary wealth? In that moment of rejection, he felt the weight of society's judgment bearing down upon him, a crushing reminder of his marginalized existence. An absolute disgrace, discrimination, and injustice he had faced. A spotlight on the callousness of Ferguson Plarre bakery, Rosebud Plaza should shine to expose the hypocrisy of their charitable faƧade. Undeterred by the newfound apathy of Ferguson Plarre, Rosebud Plaza, Lois is still determined to knock on doors that have food that will be discarded if not sold and deliver to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNo service with a smile here. Got my order completely wrong giving me coffee instead of the chai I ordered, I asked the young girl very nicely for it to be rectified, received poor service & a snarky rude response from the older barista lady when I asked if the fresh drink had the correct milk as I have special dietary requirements, this even had other patrons looking at the older lady in surprise. As I walked back outside I passed another staff member with a smile not knowing he had apparently just asked my brother to move further away with his ciggarette which is fair enough, he had thought he was outside that restricted area going off the placement of the stickers. No sooner had I sat down outside & the rude woman from inside barged out & aggressively got right in my brothers face pointing & accussing him of making the other staff member feel intimidated, still going on about his smoke, to which he defended himself & asked what was he was doing wrong & that he wasnt hurting anyone & had moved further along. She just wanted to rant & not hear anything anyone else had to say & told him to never come back, but did not ask us to leave. She went inside & must have called security while we tried to drink our beverages & lied telling them my brother had been aggressively swearing at them which he absolutely did not. After a good chat with security where I suggested they check footage & would find we had been more than amicable & she had not, security left us with a smile & said enjoy the rest of your day & drinks. I will point out that staff from other stores in the centre were seen openly vaping right at the entrance & nothing was said, only to my brother, where she treated him like he was scum. Much like she has obviously treated others judging by the reviews left. We gladly wont be back, & we will gladly tell everyone we know just how people are treated by this establishment. 0 stars because of their obvious bad attitude towards people of a lower socio...
