Went here upon reading a recommendation. However it was quite disappointing. The staff seems a bit green but that was okay. We ordered one of the kids meal, they accidentally send 2 different ones to the table. As the little one had started eating the wrong one, the first waitress clarified and tell us it’s fine it was their mistake sending the wrong dish to the table and we wouldn’t be charged for it.
However right after another staff came and basically repeat the whole process again albeit more rudely, and went ahead and took the one we actually ordered away.
Our gripe with this is Going back or just be consistent in the service recovery/action. Either take it back, or don’t. But stick to it. The 2nd staff was abrupt rude and felt like she’s winging it as she speak. Didn’t help without saying anything she reached out and pick up the untouched correct meal. Only upon seeing our bewildered face she explained that it was extra so she’s taking it back. Either they are going to repurpose the wrong meal for the table they had originally missed. Or rather throw it away than leave it with us. Or try to get the other table to accept the wrong order. All 3 purpose seems terrible.
Food was very average. Like Costco average, which probably isn’t a coincidence that Costco is literally minutes walking distance away.
Baby seat is not great we it’s forced with its own table and very wide towards the front meaning your little ones are seated quite far from the table.
Coffee was like the food. Super average. Hey at least it’s not bad.
Had high hopes but quite...

Today I walked in at 2pm on the dot to order some takeaway lunch. I was told I was "lucky" the chef would make my order because the kitchen was closed. The next customer was turned away. Seems strange at 2pm when this cafe must rely on lunch breaks from shops and offices nearby.
All I wanted was toast with some avocado and mushrooms. What I got was bread that had been grilled on a hotplate or something, not toasted, which is fine except that it tasted and stank like some kind of burnt charcoaled food. On the drive back to the office, I was trying to figure out what the dreadful smell was in my car - I realised it was my food.
I was given 2 tablespoon scoops of mushed avocado. I expected the "avo smash" touted on the menu to have feta or some herbs or something - this was just plain avocado from what I could see. It was also not enough to cover the two pieces of bread! I was also given two large mushrooms, but they were rubbery, dry and not very warm.
I'm sitting at my desk trying to make the avocado spread across the bitter, charcoaled bread. Not happy.
That cost me $15. I'm done...
Read moreA cute Cafe out in the Ringwood area on the main street for those who preferred not to go into the Eastland Shopping centre.
Coffee and food in the day were pretty average, coffee came out way too hot and they can't be bothered to at least do a simple latte art. It took a good 20 mins before food is ready from ordering. The "French Toast" doesn't meet the expectation and is very cakey, while the burger merely a smashed burger.
Service was also average. We got seated (table reserved) so close to the next table so you can almost join the conversation. This place is incredibly noisy and may be a good idea to install noisy absorbing ceiling/ walls.
Nobody came to take at least the coffee order for ten mins until we had to wave them over, same for another ten mins for us to be able to order food. It is the simple way to increase the turnover of customers, and possibly more drinks ordered if the staff gets more attentive.
May be I went there at the wrong day, but I'm unable to justify the 4.7 stars rated for this place, until...
