Yummy Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

I cannot fault Yummy Pizza & Pasta. I'm very fussy with pizza and Italian cuisine, especially as my late grandmother was from Italy... and I adore every dish I've tried so far (over the past 18 months) from here. The calzones are a standout.. I'm talking, I spent the past week constantly thinking about the one I had last week and basically drooling each time.. got one tonight, it was even better than I remembered!! Their pizzas are of such a high quality too. Like the proper delicious pizza most of us grew up with. I have never, not even once, had anything close to a bad meal or experience here. The staff are all wonderful and it is always service with a big smile! It's like the cherry on top of the amazing food they cook! I will say one thing, please order directly via the restaurant by calling or ordering on their website, rather than using a delivery service app. Doing it this way, the restaurant makes more money and you save money too, it's win-win all round! I had high hopes for this pizza shop after reading the positive reviews but my first experience wasn’t a good one. Delivery took 1.5 hrs which is long, but understandable on a Friday night. However when the pizzas finally arrived they were no longer hot and very dry. Like they’d been sitting out for a long time prior to delivery. The overall taste was ok and I’m sure they’d be nice when fresh, but they probably shouldn’t be offering a delivery service if that’s the standard. Trying to order through their website had many technical issues so I used UberEats instead, however as the store employ their own drivers there is no ability to ‘track’ your delivery. I wen't in and ordered a Meatlovers and asked when it was ready if I could have some BBQ Sauce on the top and he said normally we charge for sauce on top. And I'm thinking to myself, I'm surprised your still in business with that attitude. It was technically a BBQ Meatlovers and to run a few lines of sauce over the top will send you broke?
